:D some traveler about Laos: "One of the first phrases I learned in Lao was “bor pen yang” or “no worries”. You hear it constantly: on the street, in restaurants, while bargaining with a tuk-tuk driver. Laos is a laid-back culture of no worries and one I hope to fully embrace over the next six months, leaving the American hustle and bustle behind for a little while."

So I guess the essence of Laos: chill out and no worries, enjoying present moment.

its definition of how laos weed smokes. am I right Donald?

I am seeing what i expect to see from a NH in early veg being expressed but it may change and lean more to the Asian side as it starts to flower.

actually the laos had quite large leaf hempy ,
not the skinny , thinner ones that thai often has ,
hence my comment on the plants looking like leaning to the laos ...

Thanks! So far I have 2f 2m and 2 herms. The smell is still very much wet leather and musky. Not really much change as of yet. I’m excited to see what’s to come. I’m gonna just let them open pollinate. Separate the herms. Not to knock the herms cause I’ve come across some fire herms. Just don’t wanna introduce them to the rest.

I could be way wrong. I would have to believe that in some of the landrace sativa s that the herms would actually be closer to a pure strain. At least towards the more wild untainted varieties. ??VS a selected line. Anyone have any input on the subject?

Check this baby out. It’s an orange daiquiri x with an old highland Thai male. Trying to recreate a semi juicy fruit Thai lol.

yea i think that sounds about right maha ,
it was a nice escape from reality ,
floating on a magic carpet feeling ....

yeah I know what you mean.. though somebody can get impression its some relaxing weed, while its stimulating weed imo.. its task for any creator to resist grey reality of material needs and find escaping lines(Deleuze/Guattari), so its great for creativity.. and thats how I enjoy my life the most, through creativity of my mind.. although fantasma is defined as a lack of the event, the set of fantasmas can create the event.. cheers.

Hiya Maha glad i can make your day but i don't see Loas in that plants structure mate yea i have seen and grown high land Thais that had leaf look similar but it honestly looks like what i would expect to see in a dutch haze hybrid.I am sure you n Donald have seen them to. Saying that as i said in my post before once the plant starts to sex n stretch it could very much express a lot of Loas so far i my self dont see it.

Maha,Beautiful ladies! Great job on those. I have to lean towards hemps opinion. I believe I have 3 of the Laos/Thai and 3 oth. With one in the middle. And 3 still to small to identify. The 3 that are of the super Laos really resemble in leaf structure that of the highland Thai. As far as being a little more on the even side of the length of leaf and closeness between leaflets. Combined with a a slightly broader leaf.

Now this can change. As these plants were all started from seed with a 11/13 light schedule. Not to mention now they are in an area with about 70% shade. Then combine that with 80% humidity. After all is said and done, if the smoke is good. I’ll continue to an f2 to open up the gene pool a bit. And run them in full sun. The smell from a stem rub is pretty spot on to the Laos/Thai. I think Donald was right to feel the Laos would have a strong showing in this cross. Thanks.
