Sorry folks, I chopped them all down to make room for seedsman haze so I will have to reconvene these at a later date. None of the showed any male flowers so it may have just been a stress response earlier to low light, small pots and low fert didn't show anything in 2 weeks, not long enough I know, but the seedsman take priority so next spring it seems, definitely want to revisit these and I will have better temps come spring/summer so a better test.

Are u referring to the original haze that was available from seedsman in the past , or is this something else.

Yes the one from the past, some are reproductions of the original seeds, and some oare original seeds.

Nice. I lost a pack of these to some funky soil a few years ago. I planned on buying another pack or two but slacked and now i think they are gone for good.
Good luck with those beans and hopefully you can find and preserve something exceptional.

The Haze Whisperer
Hey Maha,

I don't support BW in any way but I might as well clear a few things up as far as the lineage.

The Gold Thai, AKA Thai78, Thia came from hempy and has nothing to do with the Laos. Supposedly it was reproduced 6 generations outdoors by Hempy's Uncle Tony in OZ since 1978. It was then crossed to Kangas giant Mullum cut named Beast. I have kept a cut of the MM78 for years and love her. But I also found full blown hermies and plants that where just not high enough quality to keep around. Takes a little digging as would be expected.

The Super Laos was from a different person BLB in Thailand. The original farmer they got the seeds from was shot and killed by the cops. Same Laos line Donald M shared with us in the line you call Maos we both love. BW got Laos F2s from DM and the Haze from Charlie Garcia to make his Super Laos x Haze currently being offered.

:tiphat:

Bob Not even close but i guess thirty people later the story and information dose change.

The Thai was from imported Thai that arrived here in 1978 and it was inbreed 6 generations from there before it got to me.Uncle tony had the red Colombian and the Thai is not a Golden Thai (Golden buddha) was a different Thai strain i had the 78 is a low land Thai.

15 years ago now i did a grow thread on the 78 Thais in icmag to prove to Sam that Thais (all the ones i ever did ) Never hermed after sexing. The hermaphrodites i ever saw in pure sativas all showed up at sexing not after.Once a female or a male was sexed they stayed clean.I also did a run at Mr nice but i edited all my posts before i walked away. The only hermaphrodites i ever saw after sexing was from dutch stock. The 78 can take over 12 weeks to even sex.

Okay now to the Bushy collection.

I can tell you right now only Nev had a Thai plant to breed with bushy at best got hold of f1s.

No one but Nev had the Thai in pure form i spoke to Nev daily Nev and i had a fall out around 2015 but i made contact and peace with him weeks before he past away.

I dont want to get involved in other peoples dramas we all have ow own and there is always two sides to any story.

oh i better add i did send bushy some of the original laos seeds i got ,
he complained it wasnt many so i sent a few more , unsure how many in total ,

but it was less than 20 for sure as i only got around 50 or 60 to begin with ,
and i still have a few ,
i think his haze , laos was from seed i got from blb ,
i suspect given the look of the ones good old beanzy got ,
that they were f2s that i made , as i said bushy didnt have many ,
and beanzys ones look fresh and dark like the one i made ..

probably just a recurring spelling mistake since if you look now its not spelt the same ,
also the fact that part of thailand is not really renowned for growing erb ,
i suspect its more likely the illusive thai stick that you seem to think came from somewhere else ...

maybe the laos people made that seed eb

and it was imported into thailand by the cia??:biggrin:

Could someone please tell me what the exact lineage is for the super Laos haze? After reading the description and now reading this thread, I’m a little confused as to what this strain is as far as f/m. What specific female was used and what exact male was used to create this strain? Thanks!

Good luck with that.
I was interested in those for a few minutes but it was a “the more you read, the less you know situation”.

Here’s some of the super Laos haze. Along with some older highland Thai.

10 out of 10 sprouted. 7 sprouted in 2 days. The other 3 were about 7-8 days behind. No scuff I just soak for a few hours and plant in 4” starter pots and put outside under full sun. The super Laos are all in the one fabric pot together. So you can see the age difference. Thanks
