hello, i'm new to all of this, but I respect your and bog's ideology in regards to genetics. I just got on the seed buying thing recently and have had and collected lot's of varieties of clones for 7 years now and have a-lot of expeirience with this lovely plant but i'm not sure where to get the authentic BOG genetics i'm willing to pay the cost at any means to have this man's genetics. I don't mean to sound desperate but I know good things when I see them. Can you help brother??????????
Thank You

I hope this get's to you I'm not sure how to use thhis site, I also have butt loads of pictures I'd love to post but I'm not sure how to do that either,,, as I said I am pretty new to all of this computer stuff, but I feel I have a-lot to offer to this community.

And I KNEW THERE WAS NO BUBBA IN HER! sorry, had to say it, rub it in a little bit, for as I told everyone Bubba was not in her, they scoffed and laughed, but I STAYED FIRM, and I KNEW IT!!! WOOHOO

SourBubbleBX3 RIP

SourBubbleBX3 RIP

Last of the seeds I got from bog were SourBubbleBX3's, and after a few test grows i had only 1 girl outside and no seeds left.. But she was NICE!!! Until somebody ganked her a few days before harvest :(
I had a clone from her before she was robbed, but I accidentally forgot to water her one day and fried her under my lights.. Last time I've seen BOG genetics, the pics and grow reports are still here in my gallery/posts

I'd do anything to get my hands on BOG's gear again. That SourBubble truly is a really amazing plant.. Maybe someday I'll get lucky and stumble upon her again :rasta:

Hi Southwind,

Beautiful bushy outdoor Sour Bub you have going, not to mention that wonderful Thai plant. Cant wait to see how they finish outdoors.

Sour Bubble could pop back up sooner or later, so keep watching and we all might get lucky once again.

Bad News

Bad News

Greetings all:

I have just returned from the Hospital for a procedure to remove a part of a kidney stone, things are bad in there..

but the REAL BAD NEWS is that Sunnyside/Kokua is leaving us maybe forever.

If you are new , you have no idea what kind of great help and knowledge and humanity that loses us.

If you are more seasoned around here now would be the time to step up to this thread :

http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=1842176#post1842176

and wish him whatever seems right to you.

Read his reasons why, and stop for a moment..just a moment or two and think ...what can YOU do to be a better person TODAY, what can YOU do to make this mess better?....

its worth gold to you..

Originally Sour Bubble was termed by BOG as Super Bubblegum or Sour Bubblegum. As stated prior attempts at breeding what BOG claimed were the parental stock[White Label Bubblegum] signally failed to produce either Bogbubble or a Super Bubblegum.

Later information after BOGs exodus from BOG himself seemed to indicate that in fact something else had been used to produce both.

In one instance a 'afghan' was publically claimed to have enetered the picture. But to our knowledge was never repeated or officially claimed.

We just dont know.

But last year there was some info that again suggested the 'afghan'.

One thing is clear, from a private communication to BOG , was that as Bog said 'It WAS NOT Bubba Kush'

with a smilie attached.

This was Bog s way of saying to me that Bubba was wrong but another afghan may not.

Therefore the higher density flower structure and trichomes may come from the more typical structures associated with Afghan Kush type plants which were often bred for hashish production and would need more trichomes to do so.

This would explain many anomalies found in SOUR BUBBLE and BOGBUBBLE.

What it does not explain is the polyploid fingerprint found in the protein DNA profile.

note; break 8-11-08

I've thought this for awhile, but, looking at all these pics only intensifies my feelings. The "Afgan" part of the equation sure does look like Tom Hill's Deep Chunk. I don't know if anyone has analyzed the two with botanist eyes. I'm just a novice.

Notes 8-15-08

Sour Bubble hybrid information contribution by Chiliberkster indicates males producing overall higher vigor is SB hybrids.

FEMALE SB shifts to FEM SIDE in unacceptable leaf to calyx.

Note that LS X SB was male LS.

Vigor is marked in 3 of 4.

should attempt SBBBX 3 MALE TO LS FEMALE.

for SOUR BUBBLE PRESERVATION no other modifications to vigor should be indicated as all combinations should be available in progeny.

Possible introduction of SB-0 this year if specimens prove unique.

Hi Southwind

September is fast approaching and I have been preparing for this years crop. I hope September will be cool since August temps have been slightly below normal. Hope it's not going to be a late summer with 100 degree days next month.

I expect this years grow to be the best one yet. Sour Bubble once again dominating the growrooms with the help of some friends!!!!

I will be finishing untrained plants from seed in 7 gallon pots, clones and LST trained plants in 5 gallon pots for yield comparison. Going to do some side by side clones in coco and organic soil for growth comparison.

I will also create some crosses from select cuttings. Sour Bubble will be crossed with OG Kush, Chemdog D, and Blockhead. I will also cross the OG Kush with several Bubblegums to see what happens. That should get me started.

Got plenty of Sour Bubble so I hope to get some interesting pheno's to work with.

I wish I had enough posts to give karma lol, I would definitely hand it out here. Sourbubble is on the list just for its structure/beauty let alone quality.

I am really amazed that BOG did not continue production of this plant, or at least pass it off for other professional breeders to work with. The combination of potency, plant structure, and breeding capabilities make it highly desired.

I'm just glad I am able to continue on with it, hopefully for the next 10 years or so.

Medicinal differences/similarities?

Medicinal differences/similarities?

Hi Everyone~
Just finished reading most pages on this thread. Am curious as to the difference between Lifesaver and Sourbubble when it comes to medicinal properties/capabilities? I know each person is affected differently, however, I am just trying to put together an overview of the effects each has to offer for differing illnesses.

All input is appreciated.

Peace to all~

Information.

Information.

This is my take on this question about the difference between the two hybrids, Sour Bubble and LifeSaver.

Both are exceptional medical use hybrids.

Lifesaver and Sour Bubble were both geared toward medical use, with Lifesaver being BOG's first medical strain.

But Sour Bubble is overall much more potent, it is for some a little too strong, and most folks I know do not build a tolerance to it too much.

It has a unique flavor that is exceptionally delicious, and there are many phenotypes to choose from with flavor.

Lifesaver has alot of phenotypes also, more than SB with flavors more fruity, from blueberry or berry overtones, to juicy fruit, tropical fruit, citrus, sour, sweet.. and very very potent and numbing.

Basically I will NEVER let go of SOUR BUBBLE or LIFESAVER.

And I have alot of strains.

Both are exceptional for pain.

I hope others chime in with their experience as everyone is different.
