Hello primobud. Finally getting some fresh bud. I hope the Blockhead is good shit because its just not going to produce like the HSD. I'm thinking of going all HSD for the final crop to max out the yields. I'll cut a few BH clones at the same time just in case.

Another One Bites the Dust

Another One Bites the Dust

I took this Blockhead at 77 days. Except for yield, she has it all, nice fruity smell, beautiful color and rock hard resinous buds. I ve got 2 clones of this pheno going into flower next crop. I'll see if I can improve on the yield. My whole house is reeking of this girl from harvesting. I think this'd be considered a keeper if I kept anything.

hello bloyd and medman. Thanks for posting and thanks for the encouragement.:thank you:

I had a death in the family several days ago and I'm 2000 miles from home trying to console my 89 year old mother and help settle the estate. Before leaving home, I harvested the remaining 2 Blockheads and 3 HSDs in an hour. So, I didn't even manicure the buds, just plucked the big leafs and paper bagged the buds, no manicuring. Mrs smilley is going to tend the crop and dry the buds for me.

The clones are still vegging and will continue till I return home in a few weeks. This means I probably won't get a third crop this season as everything will be 3 weeks late.

I want to give a big :thank you: to my buddy primobud. Usually when I travel, I try to mail my weed ahead, but this time I flew on a moment's notice. Anyway, primobud has been graciously feeding me Ultra Sonja weed, hash and oil since I've been here so he's really been helping me deal with my grief. Thaks again pal, the only thing in life that really means anything is family and friends. :comfort:

Sorry to hear about your loss. Primo certainly is a good friend to be helping you like that.

Im sure the mrs will have those girls ready for your return. Its a small consolation, but you'll have some yummy buds when you get home.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year

Hello all. I returned to the smilley compound a week ago. I've put my grief behind me and am back at the helm of my little grow op. Mrs smilley did a terrific job caring for the girls in my absence and the extra 3 weeks of veg turned them into monsters.

The girls have been on 12/12 for 5 days now and I've been busy removing undergrowth, staking and bending branches. I was going to flower 9 plants this crop but with the extra veg time I culled the smallest BH so there are 4 HSD and 4 BH. Hoping for the largest harvest ever.....

The first pic is of a couple of Blockheads removed for maintenance purposes. The other 2 are pics of the donut.

Hi silver, thanks for the welcome. I've been off the mag for a while, but I'll get around and check out your doings soon. I'm sure all is well.......

Mrs smilley is the foundation of my life, without her, I'd be lost and probably dead. I'm going to surprise her with a fancy ring soon. And no, not a wedding ring, ha,ha............

The trellises are pretty mickey mouse, but at least I've got something to tie back to when the branches start pulling to the light. Some day, I'll set everything up right, like you, till then, it's hillbilly ingenuity.

:)

Thanks for the kind words Killerweed, I'm good now, life goes on for the living....

So I sent my buddy primobud a thank you bag of the Blockhead. We've come to the conclusion that the BH isn't as potent as the HSD or the Ultra Sonja. It's still good weed, just not as potent. Maybe with the right pheno....? Anyway, I won't be growing it next season. Im gonna try something with a shorter flowering time, maybe some PCK or another kush, I don't know yet. I'll still run the HSD, I just want some variety.

Uncle and Aunty, mrs smilley's 85 year old relatives are coming for a 5 day visit, so we'll be running in full stealth mode for a few days. Not an issue, just a minor inconvenience with regards to the grow. They're really nice people.

Otherwise, everything is running smoothly, the new clones are almost rooted and the flower room is the tallest I've ever seen it. I'll post some pics when the visitors go home. :)
