what's up krome? i gave you a shout in the new avatar thread, but didn't see you around there... your blockhead was a determining factor when i got mine. how is it to breed with? all this hype about blockhead and i still need to smoke it!!! btw, remember those pics i sent you of my seedlings? i kinda broke my neck and had to abandon all of them. a friend is taking care of them and hopefully they will recover. did you just grow out a particular pheno of blockhead or whatever you got from seed? you are the man!

btw: what is triangle? all the pics of it look amazing and i hear it gives blockhead a run for its money... is that querkle from subcool?

Hey Lucid, the TW is on schedule with everything else. I think the picture was taken at 29 days in. The smell is like a pine, lemon, menthol smell. Very strong smell, and very, very sticky thus far.

lcoop, what up homie. Yeah, I just got my avatar and bounced. I love the work they do over there. In no time too. I have only bred with the blockhead once and the results are on their way. I'm expecting good things though. If you look around, you'll see some really nice crosses involving blockhead. I would definitely say good breeding material thus far. Bro, what happened to you? How'd you break your neck? Sounds hella painful. I hope your friend does them justice. I keep a blockhead mom from what we selected from seed. It's a winner for sure. The triangle is my fave by far. It's simply the best thing I've ever come across, and I've been to amsterdam and all that. I bet Cali has some killers that will give it a run for it's money, but honestly I would put her in a smoke out with just about anything. And yes, the querkle is from subcool. Had to give it a go and she's been pretty good. Actually I pulled one querkle last night due to herming really early on, but the other one is solid as a rock. Glad to hear you enjoy and I wish you a speedy recovery.

I'll be back later with a few more updates. Got a decent bit of work to do today and there should be something worthy to show later. Peace.

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and is ready for another blessed day in paradise. I had a pretty eventful weekend. I got another room setup, 2 kw hps, promix is the medium, and for this one I may just give Fox Farm a run. I went to the store last week to get some ballasts fixed up and the guy there pretty much convinced me to try the full run of FF including all of the powders they have. I did use FF a few years ago with simply amazing results. I was growing sensi big bud and hash plant at the time and they were coming out great, I just think that when I moved locations someone else told me about floranova and I gave it a go and have stuck with it since. I figured I would give the Fox Farm a run this time around and see what's truly the better nute for me. So, I transplanted clones of blockhead, triangle, gdp, trainwreck, og bx, and banana kush that have been prevegging for about a week and a half under the t5. Looking to have a much more even canopy in this room, unlike the big room that's running with clones and seeds alike.

Speaking of seeds, when I went to tend the ladies over the weekend, I did a close inspection of the plants. I was worried before about the chem crosses herming out as I've heard quite a few of reports with sour diesel herming pretty bad. Well, lo and behold what was waiting for me this weekend. One of the chemhaze and one of the chem d was herming up really bad at this point, only 29 days in. I don't mind a few nanners at the end of the cycle, but for this early it's simply unacceptable for me, so they had to be pulled.

I just need to uplaod a couple of pics and you'll see what I mean. They were busting out everywhere. Oh well, it's just more room for what's left.

Herbalistic,

Triangle- I might have to come up with another name for this. I don't want it to be mistaken with Triangle kush that I've seen around. I've had this clone for about 6-7 years or so. The only real background info I got was that they were from some seeds called triangle. A friend grew it out and said it was shite and passed it along. It ends up being the fire of fire and I've had it since. But I just want to clarify that this isn't triangle kush to the best of my knowledge. But it sure is certified DANK.

Hey there Krome..awesome garden you have my friend...Just a lil curious about your Triangle...I know you dont want it confused with Triangle Kush and I was curious as to why?..IMO it grows just like triangle Kush and the nug shots are dead on to TK...I know a lil rundown on the TK..it was created in the Mid 80's by an old redneck surfer in the sunshine state, not Cali...It's a cross of 2 old Kushs and a lemon thai...It far exceeds anything I've ever seen in resin production early in flower...it can be picked anywhere from 49 -75 days..75 days will make you retarded by the way...I just have a cut but there were seeds made when the cross was made..I believe they may be related..when smoking your cut does she fill your lungs and make you feel like your going to bust but doesnt make you..a real workout on the lungs..taste is like a lemon musky funk...thanks for a reply in advance..and keep up the love in the garden..I have pics in my gallery if interested..didnt want to hijack your thread..

Hey CannaBullies. How you doing? I'm really glad you came through here. I've seen pics of the TK around. I think a while back I saw pics in Bluedogs(?) thread. There were a couple of pics where I was like, damn, that's it! But at the same time, I'm not trying to go around acting like I have something I don't. I've been meaning to hit you up after I've seen a couple of newer pics you put up. Your background info is very interesting to say the least. I'm beginning to think you're on to something, especially if it's from where you say it's from.

Bro, from your descriptions, they very well may be related. This thing is a resin freak, no lie. We've taken her anywhere from 40-67 days, with 57-60 being the favored harvest time. This is definitely the lung buster variety. The best way to describe her flavor, as Stretchpup described also, is simply kief. That's what I though I was smoking the first time I was packed a bowl of this. The first time I tried it I fell in love. My friend wouldn't give me a cut for about a year and he only grew it for himself. Wouldn't even sell me a sack. All personals. Well, after a while he finally hooked me up and I've been ever so grateful ever since.

I would love for you to put up some pics so maybe we can see some similarities and whatnot. Don't worry about hijacking. You're more than welcome over here any time. One of the main reasons for me getting on this board was to hopefully find out some of the origins of the triangle. Even if they aren't related, it's still cool to see other dank ass strains repping in other people's gardens. Best wishes, and thanks again for finding your way over here.

bummer bout the nanners bro.. that shit is really annoying when it happens. looks like you have plenty of fine gear to replace those with..

killer thread.. keep up the good work :joint:

Krome...Thanks for the warm welcome my friend..Yep I got my cut from BlueDog...He's had it since 91 I believe..and not that long ago he met the guy who crossed and made the TK...Yep TK is a Beast from the east..Not a flavor of the month Kush...Not that common to see it in someones garden either...From looking at your pics and stretchs report I really do believe them to be from the same seed line...your's being more Kush Dom and mine being more lemon thai Dom...Your Triangle crosses sound bad ass...I just crossed mine with Strawberry D..running a test on those beans as we speak...I've tried the TK at 32,49,60 and 75 days...32 days is to racey and will get ya paranoid.55-60 is preferred but 75 will make ya ride the short bus..bring helmet..lol..here's a few pics from today at 57 days..My favorite part of smoking TK is the woo woo factor...as your trying to hold it in all you can do is woo..woo..or Bust

sweet stadium Cannabullies.

Krome - that triangle looks absolutely crazy man, as I've said before.
I was wondering what you thought of that BCBD purps in the end. How does it measure up compared to the other strains your running (eg blockhead) in terms of smell, taste, potency, yield?

cheers, Ez

Krome...just talked to my boy and your cut is in the TK family...It's known as white in that circle...just a sister like I thought..welcome to the family bro..it may just be a small world after all.

Neptune

The Tiangle Kush doesn't look like Krome's Triangle IMO.

Looking good over there Krome, you will be pleased with Fox Farms!
Go easy on the dry super chem ferts though ;)

Nice Trainwreck, you already got her showing her wares... damn!
I just can't get her dialed in, she always comes out lank and spindly, no colas to speak of.... I stil grow her for the few grams she gives me though... she's simply an amazing california heirloom... one of the best strains in the world.

Hey Krome
I know what it is like to find those nasty balls in with your flowers, I had to get someone to show me what was up, I could not fathom that was happening, so it got made into hash. Good luck with the rest of your grow I am sure you will be able to pull off a spectacular grow

Krome..sounds like you could be on to something. After smoking the Triangle a couple times...Man I just love this stuff..wow..I turned a real good friend onto some yesterday and he thought we were smoking hash..lol..no joke...and I'd have thought so too if I hadn't packed the bowl.It does this weed no justice smopking it wrapped in paper..theres just too much good taste here...I've been smoking for 30 yrs and this is one of my top five best..Not sure about the tolerance factor cuz I haven't been smoking it long enough. However now the legs are long, high phenomenal...and taste to beat the band...don't worry plenty of good things left to say about this girl when the smoke report comes. GAD ZOOK!!!

Forty-grit-yeah it sucks about those nanners but what can you do? You're right though, there's plenty of other REALLY good stuff waiting in the wings to be given a run. Check back in no time and it'll be on and poppin.

Redwood-Roots, I hear you bro. She's made it so far. Should just be getting ready to get out of transition mode, a decent veg and then Straw Dies. will be in the building. Is she more diesely or straw?

CannaBullies, tight work on the room bro. I like the stadium setups. Northern Farmer's been repping them hard and getting killer results. I do have to agree with Neptune in that I don't think they look all that similar at all. Some nug shots do. But there's just too many coincidences in the story for there not to be some relation (ie. It's known as white in that circle...) Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of all of this.

Neptune, I'm with ya that they don't look all that similar, but from their descriptions, location, and a couple of other weird things, I'm not ruling it out. Maybe OFR can let us know what he thinks. And that TW will be 4 grams ma when done. It's one of the original 3 and was put right in and only in 1 gallon. Couldn't wait, had to see what was up and you're right, she's oh so special. Just can't stop smelling her. Can't wait to have a few bigger ones. Won't be too long though.

Ezra, much thanks my friend. The purps is a pretty good plant. It's smell is unique to the others in the garden. Very floral, grapey. It's just an intoxicating smell that you could just smell all day. The flavor of the herb is excellent also. Kind of grapey, but some other flavors mixed in as well. Budluver just gave a great report on it. Check my sig. Yield wise, I can't make a true assessment on that until after this run. I've only ever run one at a time and it was usually a big plant yielding about 4 oz. This time I actually have a good bit of them in the normal single cola style of plant. It doesn't look to be a bad yielder, but not a great one either. I wish the buds would get a little more dense, but I don't think you can find too many better visually appealing buds. The high is good, but could be longer for me. Great daytime herb for me.

OFR, just the man I want to see. Lovely pics as always. The TK is first class fire. I've been wrecking my head all night trying to figure out the connection and I think I may just have it. Still waiting to hear from my boy, hoping he'll shed some light on the subject. Hit me up when you get a sec. Maybe we can set something up to get together a session or something.

Dr. Dog, yeah bro, seeing such fine girls show you her big set of balls is such a turn off. Thanks for the good luck. I'm hoping that I can still put on a good show.

budluver, my partner in crime. What's going on girl? You're outdoor shit is looking awesome. You've definitely got that greenthumb when it comes to the great outdoors. We just need to get you some proper conditions and see how we can bang it out once that cold weather comes rolling through. I couldn't be more stoked to hear that the triangles may be related. At least I may finally know a little lineage behind the family favorite. You're not the only one with the same experience. I have one friend who said that after he smoked it, it literally changed his life. Once any smokes on this, that's all they ever want, that white shit. lol. Glad she's made your top 5 list. Great to hear.
