all i gotta say is your triangle kush looks real damn similar to our 94/95 ogs1?
now if the ogs1 i have and the triangle kush taste and smell the same (any comparison testers?
), the story of OG being a hermi chemdawg from tahoe will be forever proven false. LOL.....the saga continues...but for real, based on all my growing, i find it hard to believe the diesels and og are related...IMHO...

i have the info on the tks lineage.........and your last comment is dead on......except its never been reffered to as og here, where it was created. ive known the guy who did the cross for ages, surfed, and even had the guy whoop my ass showing me defense technique(kinda nutty) anyways..about a month ago,,,,he decides to start talking about strains(something rare here) most want good, but have no inclination to breed. well he starts talking about the cat piss degenerating(it was big here in late 80s 90s) and how nobody here was really buying bulk of an indica called maple,,,,,something new was needed, and the hindu kush was to be the gal. he crossed this gal to a lemon thai he got from a buddy, and in return this buddy crossed it back with another kush, my guess from taste and structure would be pinetar......
my friends and i have been running tk going on 15 yrs now, and it still packs the best taste and buzz ive ever witnessed,,,,,,,,and after all this time, the degeneration is substantial but its impossible to cull, as she is a weightlifter in a wheelchair.

sounds like a cool story. didn't the story have something to do with the emerald triangle originally? hence the name triangle kush? i thought i remember you saying somethin' bout that. maybe not, stoner's memory.
anyways, once a side by side is done we can defintely say whether or not they are related. but based on pics and flavor description, i've never seen or heard of anything that looks so spot on to socal og. plus it would make sense for it to make it to socal considering the surf hotspots in the US are down where y'all are and up the coast a lil ways (obx)....and out in socal...not too much good surf elsewhere unless you like thick ass wetsuits, hoodies, and boots!
on another note, that "white" strain looks real similar to the abusive og....i think i've said this before....

Hey guys. Sorry I've been slacking around here. Been super busy and have just slacked to say the least. I'm glad to have everyone around. Everyone is welcome to contribute what you want. Especially pics. I love em. Now to get down to a little bit of this. From all of the pics I've seen, I would agree with thadocta that the TK and OG have an uncanny similarity between them. My triangle doesn't grow like that, with the calyx formation and such interspersed nodal structure. I do think though, that the triangle and TK are from the same family. All of the info OldFamilyRed posted, was spot on from the story I got from my buddy concerning the origins of the triangle. Pretty much everything else was spot on also. We've been running the triangle hard for the past 6-7 years and in that time she's definitely gone finicky on us. She seems damn near impossible to dial in completely, it's the longest strain in the stable to root and when it does the percentages are much lower than others. Most of the crew doesn't even run high numbers of triangle. One reason is it's just so damn stink. Extra filtration is needed with her. The other is that like OFR stated, the yield seems to have gone down in the past years. I have to LST or let one veg for extra long if I'm wanting to get 2+ oz. off of her. She used to do that without hesitation back in the day. Either way, there's no way in hell anyone would let this cut die out around here. She's just too damn special. It's good to know that she's made her way out west a little and hopefully she'll spread around there a little more if she hasn't already. As far as it looking like the abusive og, I'm not so sure. I haven't run the abusive, but wouldn't mind doing a little side by side with them. All I do know is that this cut I have is something special. I'm just glad to be getting some confirmation as to the background of my fave strain to date. Thanks guys for keeping everything rolling over here in my absence. I'll definitely get some updated pics of the rooms progress in the next few days.

krome, loooks like we know our junk eh?=) the one thing i see thats def different, is my tk roots in 7 days on the money, and i get 100% rates, shes a real strong rooter, and can make more cuts faster than any other strain if worked with, with the exception of Iron Maidem, the IM will put out enough clones for a large commercial setup to need nly 2 mothers......with tk we usually keep 2-3 moms, and 3 others moms on the come up, because after a year, a tk mom will get very woody, and is best to just flower her trained.,...... krome,,,,,looking forward to it.....one,lime
o, and a funny story,,,,me and my buddy D were trading grow room disaster stories, and i told him a couple good ones, and he said he had one to top the dirtiest of dirt grow room stories,,,,,,his boy opened his flower room door and let his little schnauzer in first( i know, dogs n flower room?) anyways, the dog heads to the corner of the room, and he hears his dog yelp, and jump,,,,then as soon as he is walking towards the dog to see whats up, he sees this 3 foot black snake booking towards him, straight between his legs and into his living room,,,,,,,,this goes to show, if you dont keep a clean flower room, youre dog might get bit by the snake thats living ff rodents that are living off large bugs that are living off mites.....i thought you guys might get a kick out of that klike i did,,,,one,lime
