I visited friend the other day and one Triangle x (NL x LK) x Pure Kush and one Blockhead x (NL x LK) x Pure Kush had died, so there are only one of each left...

Here they are:


I dont currently have space myself, but im definitely going to pop some of those crosses in near future.

I take pics of those Blockheads in weekend and share them. They are small, but they are healthy & good looking (hopefully ladies.

However, Mota´s Purple Kush is very vigorous grower also.

A quick updates on the blockheads, i took some pics about an hour or two ago (day 41 of flower). They are doing awesome since i boosted them, as you can see compared to the last pics they have swelled up alot. Pics 1, 2, and 3 are of the indica pheno, pics 4, 5, 6, and 7 are the sativa pheno.

A little update, I'm currently 19 days in on this run. Things are looking alright so far. Not as good as I would like it to look, but not too bad either. It's been a real pain since switching my lights on during the night. But I don't think they would make it any other way. It's like Hell's kitchen around here. For reals though. I don't have any newer pics of the DC crosses right now, but they're on 50 days veg and going to be flowered out on the first. Exciting times. So, here's the room as it stands now. A lot of these plants stretched for the sky and there's no such thing as an even canopy in this room whatsoever. I guess that's the price you pay for trying new things. I'm sure I'll be happy come smoke time though. Enough talk, let's see some pics. Sorry the pics are so shitty. It's a lot easier to take pics when they're full of buds imo.

Finally read thru this bad boy....lotta dank my friend . Which would you say is more potent..the purps or querkle..just curious? I'm running some querkle now (still young) and figured I'd ask. Also how many querkle fems did you start with..nice show!

Redwood-roots, thanks for coming through. I'm glad to hear that you like. Out of the two purple strains I'm running, I have a preference for the querkle a little more. The flavor and funk of the querkle just came out nicely with a good cure. It's got much more of a kick and lasting power than the purps imo. I think the purps does well because of the extreme colors that she puts out, but the jar tends to stay more full than the rest for some reason. I'm going to reserve final judgment til after this round is done, but for now I'm going with the querkle.

J-Roc, glad to provide you with something worthy to drool over. Stick around and I promise it'll only get better. The first is just about here and it signals the starting of the deep chunk crosses. Can't wait. Thanks again for coming through and I'll be seeing you around hopefully.

whoa, the purps is from BCBD?? That is wicked. It looks a LOT like mendo-purps.
I can tell you got your hands full krome, nothing like throwing in a bazillion new strains to get the hair on theb ack of your neck to stand up... looks like you are doing them proper though! I am VERY VERY excited about your DC crosses, you have an eye for great plants my friend and I know you will find what we are all looking for... DANK! lol

Stupid me stupid me stupid me stupid me, arrrggggg

Alright, now that i got that out of my system. I just went to go give one of my blockheads it's final watering (flushing) and i'm walking down the hallway to bring her into my tub so when i flush her i can drain her right into the tub, of course with my luck i tilted the plant a little too much and the pure weight of her buds caused her to snap right in the middle of the main stem.

I have never had a problem like this before, i taped her back, and am hoping she will flush fine, but i don't think that will be the case. Does anyone know if she will still absorb the plain water and flush out? She broke pretty cleanly in half, except she was being held up a little by the outer skin of the stem, so she didn't break COMPLETELY, but close. I did my best to tape her and put a stake with some rope tied lightly around it to support her. My luck has been pretty bad this grow, during veg i had temp problems during the winter which stunted them for several weeks from the cold, then i ended up with 9 males out of 12 plants, then i had one of the females hermie in flower (which has never happened in any of my grows), and since i didn't catch the hermie in time she pollinated the females, now i run into this problem lol.

Neptune, the reason that bcbd purps looks a lot like the mendo purps is because it's supposed to be mendo purps ibl. Don't know too much more about it, but if you're looking for the purple nugs without temperature manipulation then you've got it. Curious to know how you think she stacks up to the other purples out there. It's really my first purple strain I've worked with.

SweetIndica2, bro I'm so sorry to hear about your branch snapping like that. It's happened before and what you did is about all you can do. That and pray for the best. Actually, it almost sounds like you almost harvested your plant already. I would say that if it's not looking so great in another day or two, you might want to consider cutting it then and going with what ya got. Keep me posted. Get a pic up if you can. Don't beat yourself up about mistakes. That's how we all learn. I bet you won't let this ever happen again though, will you? All learning my friend.

GangstaLean, you and SI2 asked for it so here you go. Just got these pics today. His lights just went so sorry about that.
















How you like them apples? If you look on the far left, there's about 50 in solo cups still and those I believe are the blockhead/kush cross and the others are the triangle/kush cross. He just flipped them a couple of days ago to sex them and then he's going to transplant the females and flower them out. Upon sexing, the blockhead crosses are going to be moved to another room with 2KW HPS to either veg out for a little longer or simply be flowered out. I'm not sure what he's decided to do. I'm so stoked to see these going like that. I'll definitely be keeping up with his progress as the weeks go on. I'm not sure if I explained his setup at all, but he's running 2KW HPS in one room and the same in another. Promix is the medium and floranova are the nutes. Simple as that. A little perlite but that's it. They'll all be flowered out in 3 gallon pots. They're in 1 gal or solo as of now still. Enough rambling. I'm out. I'll talk to you guys tomorrow. Irie I.

Krome- thanks for the reply, and the pictures. I am hoping for the best, so far she seems fine. No signs of wilting or stress, if she does start to show signs that she's dying though i'm probably going to chop her. I got some new pics i took last night, i'll put em up here in a few minutes.

EDIT: Here ya go. First pic is the indica pheno (the top inch or so of the bud is purple already) and the 2nd pic is the sativa pheno.
