FAR Northern detectives have seized a significant amount of cannabis following a raid on rural property south west of Atherton.
It will be alleged that officers found a crop site containing 218 plants as well as a large amount of dry cannabis hanging up in a building.
Several large barrels with cannabis inside were also found.
Police found more than 34 kilograms of dry cannabis as well as the 218 plants.
The search warrant was executed at an address on Toy Creek Rd at Watsonville about 3pm yesterday.
A 28-year-old Watsonville man has been charged with one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing a thing (a bong) that had been used.
He is due to appear in the Atherton Magistrates Court on May 16.
