I know right...Who are you to tell someone with only 100watts experience how to possibly grow on a larger scale?


Delta, I might be flexible with only trying out 3k in one room...and possibly be willing to leave it at that (if the conditions don't permit any further expansion). I'll have a brief synopsis of my plan tomorrow (maybe I'll draw a cool diagram). And I'll have a quesiton along with it probably.

Delta, I think it's unrealistic that you think I should go from 100w, to 250, and slowly work my way up to a grand total of 1,000 watts...as this is what it sounds like you're suggesting.

I'll be cutting a hole through the roof and the ducting will go straight from my grow room to the roof. I spoke with my handyman whom we'll call Cecil. Cecil informed me that it would not be a problem to cut a whole through the roof and vent directly that way.

Cecil is my distributor as well.

If you think you can go from a 100w grow's experience to living from farming .... maybe your slightly misguided on how easy it is + all the downfalls to it

Maybe get a job because it'll look better for you having an income / bank account "normal life" lol

Personally I know 3 people who grow bigger than that but they DO have nearly 20 yrs of experience each ... some of which includes jail time for being caught ...
Plus they all got jobs and "legitamite" lives... no suspicion ....

well some of us don't have that kinda outlay ... I wasn't born into a rich family who give me whatever I ask for ... and at 18 I had only enough money to support myself in a flat... so.....Maybe one day is all I can say!

Delta - Steve is a very good friend of mine hence my avatar, if it offends you or anyone here i will change it. As for the size of my grows they were very well documented on OG and CW. Some people start growing weed even when they already have money, crazy concept that people think growing weed is for people who have no job or lives. Some people get oppourtunities placed in front of them on a daily basis and it is usually the guy who shows ambition. When i was 18 i had already been around growing for 3 years. In my neck of the woods lots of people grow inside and out. I have never EVER been in trouble with the law, iam not a very flashy person. I have helped people setup small to commercial setups sometimes i donate the equipment to them if they are using for medical purposes. I also donate to Norml, have you thought about doing that as well? I hope i answered your jabs clearly so you can understand where iam coming from. Iam not a person who signed up on here and turbo posts 800 posts in the first 4 months with no experience to back my posts. Ask around i am sure there are some people from OG and CW around here that know who iam. Also with all the plug and play equipment it is much easier now than ever to setup a midsized grow. I find most people dont screw up on anything except the fact that they have a hot room with high humidity.

If i left something out Delta iam sure you will let me know.....now on to some constructive time.

What do you all think about linking cool tubes up to exhuast out of my main line?

I wanted to have the main line exhuast from the center of the grow room, but with cool tubes, I need to put the exhuast in the corner. I can drop the cool tube idea and just go with air cooled hoods and put the main exhuast in the center of the room.

As VTA suggested, I could go with a vaportek instead of the second scrubber.

I can't grow in the place I'm at now. The whole purpose of me finding another place to live is so I can grow. It wouldn't make sense economically or socially for me to move into an apartment and grow small. I'm moving from a very high rent region into a low rent region.

I have been looking extensively at places I might grow. I'll be looking at more homes in person next week.

It'll be a subtle hole on the backside of the house's roof. It'll blend in and a property manager who's just walking around the house to make sure nothing is damaged shouldn't take notice of it. Obviously, I'm answering this question for others reading.

start small and work slowly. it takes a lot of practice to get anything right.

By the looks of your drawing, you don't know all that is involved in such a large operation. Nevermind the installation, upkeep, and constant work keeping everything on a cycle which all take a lot of experience to do right. You just plain have no idea what kind of equipment will be needed for such an operation. I don't want to rain on your parade, but get realistic. Start off with a 600w or 1000w grow in soil, then try hydro. See which you like better. Then add another light and try to maintain a cycle. After a few crops you'll be ready for all the challenges of a 4k+ grow.

Second, if 35,000 was your first why did it drop down to 5,000 watts. Ok, like you said...let's get realistic.

I'm getting a house because it's frankly not that much more expensive than an apartment. The extra wattage I will be able to grow with will cover the additinal expenses of having a house.

In this house, I would like to maximize what I'm growing with. If it's not working out for whatever reason, obviously I'm not going to add more watts.

And for the love of god, stop messing with people trying to help me, especially when you have offered no practical advice or assistance other than scale down. ( I say this because you didn't point out anything specific in the sketch).

Dude...why on Earth would I want to grow with soil? Thats a crapload extra that I need to trasnport in and out of the house. I grew soil before, but that's only because i didn't have room for the hydro equipment in my smal (veritically challenged) cabinet.

I wish people would stop acting like growing requires so much experience. They're weeds, they want to grow.

Man really 1K is as big as you should go frist one. Even if you dont do so well you can still pull a pound. Then use that to do your crazy big setup. The fact is in USA a 2k flower room with a veg area can do 24 Pounds a year. 120 Gs sound good? Dont get greedy how much pot could you really need? BTW that 120 gs tax free
