straight canna coco & i try to mono crop from the same rez , but my shitty clone strike rate has me putting more than 1 strain on a rez & sometimes a strain isn't happy with the same feeds as others . i just went through this with GG4 & chem91 on the same rez , the glue was happy as can be , but the 91 had a calcium def all through flower .

I know this feeling :comfort:

Right now I have 11 different strains in bloom getting 1.2ec of V+B from the same rez. They all are liking the V+B so far, even the sativa malawi. Once in awhile I get a strain that hates all the N in V+B even at this low ec. Fucking claw and reduced yield. I just never grow them again if they can't hack it. Maybe 1 out of every 15-20 strains.

I've got a couple calcium hogs that can't be run with anything else because they need so much more , & this Chem91 (first time running it ) seems to be the same way . its weird because it was happy all through veg on the same feeds as everything else .... but once it went into flower is when the def started showing .

oh i sure do get some bad runs ! i just don't show them as much

look at the last few pics of my basement album & see the over grown mess i'm dealing with now . & the shitty looking chems are in there too a page or 2 back .

So I run a 50gal res for my buckets. I've been just topping it off every week and adding back the nutes to get back to the desired EC. The only time I did a full change was week 3 after adding the push. Should I be doing complete changes more?

Magnificent, you could try a test on your next run.

Weigh what you get this time around, then on the next run do a change once a week, with add backs during the week if needed, record your results (quality and quantity) and post your results.

why not just run the barrel/rez till its empty , then dump out what the pump won't push out & refill the rez then ? thats what i do . my 55 takes about a week to 10 days to go empty ..... i just check the PH on it every few days .

Really? I check it every 7 days and mine drink about 1/4 of the barrel a week. I'm running ebb buckets though and flood 3x lights on

right. floods into control bucket then into the ebb buckets then back into the control bucket which then pumps back into the 55gal res. do you run air stones in the res? I'll be running double barrels now as ill have dual systems so a 12 site for both sides of my 5x9 so im on that perpetual time

no , airstones or circ pumps raise the PH . plus this stuff mixes real clean . i might go in & stir the barrel once in awhile , but thats about it .

a few stirs

That's what i thought should happen. Hmmmmmmmm just for a test I took almost a gallon R/O water and brought it up to .3EC with tap(as per instruction) to make it a full gallon and then I added 1g just to make a weak solution.

I still see some salts floating around. It's not very noticeable. I can just barely see them if I look through the gallon bottle with light behind it if you really pay attention but if you held it up and showed it to me quickly it would look clear. Water temp is 63F. Should I just not care?

63 is a little cold for mixing & feeding plants . room temp (70 degrees) is much better unless its a cold room

Ya I usually let it warm up or throw a rez heater in if I need to. I just wanted to mix a test gallon together and see what happens. So maybe 63 is a bit too cold for these fertilzer salts to dissolve properly. Makes sense. When I used maxibloom it dissolved after about 20min or less, and that was during summer time so the starting water temp was definitely higher.
