Been using it for several years. It also has fulvic acid.

It is quite complete, and potent. I veg ~ 250ppm and flower ~ 500ppm (1 ec)

I recommend sticking with the tried and true d9's recipe of jacks and cal nit @ 1.2 EC. Unless your located outside the US, theres no need to complicate the feed solution in a PPK.

whats complicated about using V&B ? if ya ask me its easier than the Jacks + calnit . no solutions to mix first . & its just as clean to use . i think it would work well in any Hydro set up .
the original formulas i'm talking about (hard or soft water formula ) the other blends like HD or Dirty would have to much sediment .

Been flushing this Space Bomb for almost 2 weeks. It is finally starting to yellow up. It was grown under a couple 1000 watt HPS for about 6 weeks, then moved to my LED for the past few. The plant looks killer, is gonna yield very well, but takes a good 2 weeks to flush, maybe longer. I also have some Sour Bubbles and Strawberry Diesel Kush girls under 1000 watts HPS. They look good, but are alittle too green at this point. The buds are nice, large and dense. But I have some being fed GH 6/9and a little Magical and I fed with +SIZE the same as with VB. The VB plants had vitamin and hormone booster in Veg, but the GH plants stretched more and look better, more bulky.I drop the micro mid flower, and the plants bulk up nicely and fade in less time. I do not have to flush as long as VB. I prolly should have reduced the feed on the VB plants sooner, maybe the would fade better? In general my GH plants finish quicker and fade more, I will let you know how the yields are. I will admit, the Space Bomb flushing right now looks amazing! It is taking longer to finish...but it s very nice. That plant actually does better on VB (i have ran many times vs GH, however all of my other strains do better on GH. I like the +size with both, I didn't use it as much on 2 plants on purpose...they don't look as big of buds as with use of +SIZE More often. I used it about 3 weeks in arrow at 1/4 tsp per gal, with my normal feed. The ones only fed +SIZE once a week are not bulking up as much. My Space Bomb really does well on VB, I will continue to use it on her only. The rest of my strains prefer GH , but do not do horrible by any means on VB. I am sure I could do better with mre experimenting. vB will grow a nice plant, but it has too much N in my opinion for late flower. And I am trying another nute line, but will not post results until I use it more.

Well I've been flushed mine for more than 2 weeks, even with a 3 week flush they still are too green for my liking, the nugs are finished but the plants barely fade. The buds still burn clean (white ash) and smoke pretty good, but that bothers me. I saw where someone just posted in this thread the HD version is notorious for doing this so I'm hoping the RO formula I'm using now doesn't.

When are the guys from Hydroponics Research ever gonna come up with a feed schedule? I think this is one of the only nute companies not to have one, what's up with that?

i flush for 2 weeks but cut the V&B strength back by half the week before i start to flush & it always has a great fade by 10 days to 14 days . sour bubble & SB crosses do take longer to fade , that i've noticed on my Gorilla bubbles .

I'm still having the same problems with ph drop after a thorough cleaning of the res and all parts.
Filled up a few small res' with diff nutes.
All rock steady so far with minimal ph drift, except the v&b.
It never used to do this to me.
I still have 4 of 5 unopened 1lb jugs left too.

pimpin are you adding calmag to your mixes ? if so which brand ? EZrider & i have been going through this & we found that GH's calmag makes the PH fluctuate alot more than Techniflora's brand magical . the Magical seems to keep the PH more stable .

Actually, I was using cal-mag plus by botanicare dan, but having the same ph drift. For sure, the tecnaflora is way more stable, and about the cleanest looking calmag product I've ever seen to boot. Most I've used look like coffee, and smell like ass, or at best, sour beer. The magical looks like coors light, less the bubbles, and has no smell whatsoever. Most calmag products I've ever used were more alkaline, the magical is slightly acidic. Maybe that's the difference? Also, I can't help but think that magical is more refined than most products...it's just so damn clean! The only thing close(maybe better) are the bio-min ca and mg from safer, and those are hard to come by in my area, not to mention being 2 bottles instead of 1.

What strength(EC) are you running the base? I'm finding that all sorts of weirdness can happen if the EC gets much below 0.8. I'm just talking base here, if you use additives, subtract the additives' EC from the total.

Wait you guys are using extra cal/mag now? Jeff and Ive have been talking and he is telling me with my 150 tap the r/o formula would be plenty of Ca/mag... Right now Ive been using maxi bloom with technaflora and I can set my ph in a standing rez DTW and it doesn't move. A week can go by and not one increment has moved.

Ok so how much you adding? On those? I have a few that way just so Im prepared.

Also with the GB #6 she seems fine but she hog the Cal/mag?

2ml/gal is what I'm going with. The rez is still rising a little ph wise, but it's an overnight drift. Before it was only taking a few hours. If I run the base stronger(1.2EC+), the drift stops completely. At lower EC values, the ph-adjusting properties of v+b aren't as effective IMO. I'm using blumats and small containers(4l), so I try to keep the feed as mild as possible to avoid buildup. If you overfeed sourbubble, she wont burn, she just gets real dark green and won't fade/flush properly. If you don't supplement v+b with calmag, sourbubble gets a wicked deficiency during the flush phase. Leaves burning and crisping instead of fading out. This is my experience, YMMV.

the GB6 needs magnesium like the GG4 does . i use a heaping tsp per 5 gallon bucket & it helps alot .
the GB8 needs calmag cuz shes more SB dominant .

No calmag, just v&b @ 1.2
If I ever need extra mag, I use epsoms.
I have a real small pump to keep the mix moving, no air stones or anything in there.

Maybe the batch was weird, I figured I'd just ask and see if anybody else is having difficulties.
