I've been growing with the HD since Sept 2015 and only two of my strains have responded producing good results while the other 4 strains hate the stuff. I've been tinkering with all kinds of grams and still no lumps. Super dark green, foxtailing and/or spear shaped buds, the end product was great tasting and smoking but ugly. Plus the fact it has all that floating debris in the water and it always seemed like it wasn't enough to get my cuts and veg plants started up, they'd look hungry for several feeds before they'd finally green up. I made the switch to MaxiGro like someone suggested in this thread and after one feed my gals were so much happier than they ever been using HD, I've been adding some humic/fulvic acid and silica to it and keeping the ppms around 500 gonna grab a bag of MaxiBloom today I've already started using FloraNova Bloom on a couple bloomers and it's doing great so far, the few plants I have on HD are getting +Size for the 1st time this run and by the size of these lil nugglets at 21 days I can tell they're gonna yield massive!

I wanted to try the RO formula too but I'm kind of confused now, when I first inquired before buying I was told the HD was for my water being it was over 50ppm, when I went to place an order last week I saw they redesigned their site and now the RO is recommended for my situation. The Maxi Series mixes better and my plants really seem to like it better, they're so much happier since the switch. My water is 110ppm out of the tap, I've had to add cal/mg from time to time with other nutrients, with the HD my plants still needed extra Mg, I haven't needed any cal/mg so far.

HD grown bud, in coco, ran these 5grams per gallon, 1.6EC (.2-.3 of which is already in my water when I mix) Shine powder every other feed from week 2sh on.. straight fire. I think it's the misunderstanding that keeping it simple means not paying attention to the details like pH, when to water, how far to keep your lights etc. It's all basic shit but I know from experience it takes time to read your plants.

What works for me, might not work for you. I might work differently. Take a day off when I know my plants don't want anything from me, not when I want to sleep in lol.

So, the HR shill is the only one who likes HD...what a surprise. When I use RO things go just fine. With HD, the only difference is the HD, and it simply doesn't work as well as the RO. I've asked my retailer about it. The response? "We don't carry HD anymore, because nobody likes/buys it". They said they traded their HD back to HR for RO and Hard. That's pretty telling in itself. I've asked the community, and nobody here(except you) has said anything good about it. You imply that the substandard results many of us have had with HD are due to operator error. I'm saying straight out that you are a complete SHILL for HR, and nothing you say should be taken seriously

Where's the "hate" in saying that HD doesn't work as well as RO? Where's the "hate" in reporting the FACT that my retailer quit carrying HD due to multiple customers negative feedback? Where's the "hate" in the FACT that the vast majority prefers RO with coco? For that matter, where's the "hate" in pointing out that v+b was originally touted as a "stand alone nutrient system", but has become an over bloated line, just like everyone else's? Where's the "hate" in pointing out that you are basically HR's online salesman? There IS a reason YOU have been down the "YOU ARE a shill" road before. I'm happy for you that you feel good about it, but it is what it is.

Explain to me EXACTLY how I'm misleading myself about THESE FACTS. Please do it without accusing me of "hating" or not knowing how to use a PH meter.

The first thing HR's website does is ask if you are in Oregon, only if you click NO does it "welcome" you to the HR community. Oregon has the strictest labeling laws for products. My guess is the answer to your question lies there. HR isn't being completely upfront about what's in each product...big surprise.

Ez just curious, why do you care so much about what people are running for nutes ? Why don't you either find or start a forum for the nute regimen that you prefer ? If Veg Bloom works for these guys - great , if it doesn't work for you - well thats ok too. In my limited experience all nute companies make wild claims about what their products can do , you think HR is any worse than say Advanced. Personally i dont care if guys are having success running chelated cat piss and radioactive isotopes for nutes, to each is own . Bottom line is you are trolling this forum & acting like a douche. Ive been on a bunch of sites, Icmag , thcfarm, rollit etc. And it seems that people just love telling each other how stupid they are for using what works for them. PPK is the way to go. No Ppk sucks Rdwc is the way to go . This nute sucks , that nute is better etc etc. Folks lets not forget , we are growing dope , not making watches here. People whatever style, nute, lighting, works for you- rock and roll. Personally i give zero fucks , i come on these forums to learn from others not listen to everyone piss and moan.

Like a child, you have wandered into this conversation with no point of reference. I've been using v+b for some time, and am quite happy with it. The question was about the efficacy of the HD formula in coco vs the efficacy of the RO formula in coco. When a known shill came out as the ONLY supporter of the HD, I called him out. If that's too direct for you, then you're the "douche".

Anyways, I seen u advised aspenou on the Epsom salt?? Wouldn't that b something u would use n the very end when your about to cut the plant?? Just wondering chief!!

i wish i would have used RO instead. hd didnt work well for me.
