I don't see them liking a higher EC. these wifis hate nutes if you ask me. will drop the ph down to 5.8 though and see if that helps. pulling all these ladies into flower over the next week or two. got my Shine on the way! first VB flower run. pretty stoked
I agree Griff ! try the vitamin/hormone booster from MBferts in veg . its helped my veg ALOT ! all the defs have stopped , they're much healthier & faster growing .

right on Dan.. defiantly grabbing that soon. much appreciated! And you only use that thought veg, not bloom? I also saw you used Epsom salt on your gg4s.. at what rate did you use that?
yeah just veg , because it makes the plants stretch alot more in flower when used . its good if ya got some indicas that you'd like to see grow out more in flower . but i run mostly hybrids that stretch like crazy without it lol
1tbsp per 5 gallons of epsom or about 100ppms , you can mix up a 300 ppms foliar & that works great too .

I've been feeding at 1.0EC for a few days now, and it's really looking up. All healthy, vigorous growth, with no deformities
. I've noticed that I have to mix at least 1.0EC to get 5.8PH on my water. If I go under 1.0EC, my PH will be 6.0-6.2. I'm not sure the Ph was so much the problem as underwatering. I just renovated my system and it's now a little warmer, and moving much more air. I wasn't compensating for the extra evaporation IMHO. Also maybe a little "lumen shock". Whatever the case, They're looking great now. I may have to get some of the MBFerts next time to try it out. Hoping to go into flower in the next several days...

Just giving an update on my plant that. Was getting RO or HD. Plant was massive, and faded very nicely with a 2 week flush. It took a couple days to chop, heavy yield. however, the bud structure is different than normal and the smells went away a lot more during the drying phase than normally. Hopefully the jars bring back the smell. I have not smoked any, but made some Rosin from it. The Rosin seems to smell different than normal as well. The buds got pretty dense, and the yield will be around 7-8 dried. I am satisfied with everything, but the decreased odor concerns me. I will keep toying around with HR products. The side by side plants look about the same, possibly the HD might be slightly more dense. Both are flushing, I will report on them when done in a week or so more.
personally ..... i don't even see the need for PK boosters when using V&B . i do better without them !! try it on one round Pet ..... it might make a believer out of you

Thanks D. That's how I used to roll, then they sent me samples and I did see a hefty improvement, BUT, simultaneously, I was also using better LED panels and improved my Mini-Me F & D hydro system
So I am chopping my side by side plants tonight. In the past couple of weeks the RO VERSION has bulked up more than HD. I used more + SIZE on the HD, barely any with the RO VERSION. Plants look identical height wise and structure, but the RO version feels more dense. Will start Chopping tonight, but I can tell that the RO version will yield more by the weight of the buds is noticeably heavier. The big plant that I used RO and HD was chopped and dried. The plant yield almost 8 1/2 dried, and the smell is coming back after being in Jars which is good because it lacked smell compared to my GH plants upon chopping and drying. I am happy with the yield, and will provide a smoke report soon, as I have only made Rosin from the flower so far because I ran out of papers.
Ive gone through almost 10lbs of Dirty now in past few months. Plant finish weight is up from the technoflora line i used for years. Absolutely love this stuff! So easy and simple. I tried the Push for almost a month at amount it says to use on bottle, plants didnt like it. I also found Maxigrow works better in veg up to 2nd week bloom then V+b, girls are bigger and healthy on Maxigrow.
So I do not have final weight, but my eyes and sense of weight in hands tells me that the RO version definatley yielded more. Also the HD plant got some crispy leafs during flush and lacks Smell, even more so than the RO plant. I am going to give the HD one more shot because I have a lot, but RO with minimal + size mused actually did better anyways.
Now for Veg I have been using Maxigro on most of my plants, with a little hormone booster and silica for up. I have been using V+ B RO version 1.2 EC on my Sour Bubble Mom...it keeps the plant healthy, without stretching. sour Bubble is a Slow vegger, so I started
using The MB ferts Hormone booster with RO version 1.2-1.4 EC (like Dansbuds) on a few Clones that were transplanted into 2 gal smart pots under mixed spectrum LED and PL-L lights to veg. It has only been a few days, and I can notice growth each time I open my tent! Without the Hormone booster in Veg, all of my plants grew too slow with just the RO version, especially Sour Bubble. I am really impressed. I am so impressed that I will be doing more side by side experiments on my Sour bubble and Strawberry Diesel Kush plants starting Today. I am going to transplant 2 SDK plants into 7 Quart pots today, feeding 1 with Maxi-grow 1.2-1.4 EC and 2ml per gal hormone Booster and silica for pH up vs RO version 1.2 -1.4 EC 2ml Hrmone Booster. I will do the same experiment on 2 sour Bubbles too in a few days, when I make room to transplant. I have attempted to use RO version for veg numerous times, always proving to be significantly slower than maxi-gro or 6/9. However, with the Hormone booster/RO version I see potential to use it in Veg. I will report my results.

I've tried higher ec but they get too green. 1.0ec works fine. I wish I would have tried the regular V+B instead of the HD which I didn't think was great- only ok. I like the + size. Still use a little of it in bloom with Canna coco A & B. Vit and hormone booster gets 5 stars from me

Yeah that vitamin and hormone booster works for sure. RO version is the way to go if using Coco. I am going to try HD one more time, but I am not expecting it to be better than RO on these plants either. I am surprised eac time I open my tent and look at my SourBubble, noticeable growth each day on a Sour Bubble is not common!
