I have noticed that my veg+bloom formulas start to smell anaerobic after about 48 hours in my gallon jugs. My gallon mixes are not water pumped and don't have any airstones. Should I look into adding an airstone into these mixes so they don't start turning nasty?
This is the 3rd year using V+B...first year was used when I got a sample...I used it on 3 plants i had in dirt bags and the other plants got Lucas form....the V+B plants were so much better ..frostier..thick stems and branching and growth was so mush faster
Now I should of said this first..I grow outside only...some in a greenhouse and some outside in raised beds...I use straight horse compost aged 2 years...and I ammend it also with kelp..crab meal..Alfalfa meal...rock dust..and castings..
after the trail with the sample pack the following year I got a pound to try another experiment...I used Earth Juice Sea blast fert this time and V+B ..again the V+B showed the best...much better results...now i did use same strains with both ferts to make these tests...
Now this year i did the whole grow with just V+B(got the 5 pounder) along with Life and Size ...and all I can say is WOW...unreal...I got a late start this year due to some failures which was my own fault...due to me rushing with cold weather still here...so I had to pop more seeds and veg a bit inside first...my seedlings did not get outside till end of June ..Grrr..
But I still have plants 10-12 feet now...

I lost a 9 pound hammer crossed with chernobal due to a woodchuck...may he rest in peace..
the V+B is rocking these plants big time...my son came to see them and was amazed ..he just won 2 secret cups and Chalice cup..Boondock Alchemists..and Mich cannabis cup..Massgenetics..
Now I dont meter my water with my mixing..its well water and has a 60ppm qand PH of 6.8..so I just do the 1 TSP per gallon and I add silica ..liquid kelp..and Super nova...and water it in...
i will use the V+B from now on..i have grown close to 40 years now and wishh we had stuff like this way back then...i used fish emulsion back then..it worked..
Oh I used Dirty for soil...I am sold...

I was also considering V + B for outdoor. It's either V & B or a Super soil water only mix for next years outdoor....

Of course yield is important but my biggest concern is taste. taste is something I won't compromise on..It sounds as though you all are very happy in regards to both those traits..I am looking forward to reading more of this thread..I'm about a third of the way through now..

Hey Guys its been a long time, Ive been outta town working for around 5 months , glad to see the thread still going strong!
Most of you know i am a 3+ year user of V + B, and the last 2 grows +Size
My hydro shop gave me some sample bottles of TappinRoot. I checked their site supposedly an all -natural elixir of growth hormones. It can be used for both root and leaf development
I am experimenting with my usual seedling method: cracked seed into starter cube> once roots exit > transfer to 3" net pot and side fill with small ornamental stones. This always works great, BUT...
I've been reading about coco coir and decided to try it along side my normal technique. Not knowing it was so fluffy I had to line the insides of each net pot with coffee filters
This also allowed me to mix in some TappinRoot, and spray the outside of the net pot several times a day to attract more lateral roots
The results are impressive, both in root development and growth of plants
If you're interested I'll be posting updated root pics on my thread tomorrow

Dan (and others here) thanks for your input in this thread.. I'm on the verge of a simple and impressive way to do things..
Looking at the MBFerts site, the product seems like it has merit, how much is used with V+B, the 7.5 ml/g as indicated or ? Using it thru bloom or something/anything else?
And, Dan.. or anyone else, any experience with other Additives with V+B? Looks like a lot of people are having good results straight as well.

well i finished my 2 pounds of V+B and 1 pound of +SIZE and i like the easy of use. but my fav is the +SIZE i love being able to run no N in the last few weeks before just water and EM-1.
i have another sites easy formulas to try out as well, im looking for larger production, and well the price seems to go up the more V+B i buy? instead of getting a break in cost. i have a large warehouse to run here, i used 1 pound in a night watering bloom and veg rooms. to be fair i will give them a call and see if i can get tow trucked if not well...on to the others.
i think the smell of the V+B and +SIZE are great i love that the most. did not like the reaction to moist air when left open but its to be expected with salts.
