I found these old pictures of Swazis I've grown

First pic is a lanky stretcher from 2007/08 from African seeds originals. It made your head spin. The latter two I think are from Musta. The last one is the mother of those Ethiopian hybrids of mine. They all look very different to each other, all are African seeds Swazis. That's what I love about these, the variety. I don't know how many generations they were worked with in Spain but I remember the first plant being quite different to the latter ones. Nothing compact about it. Also completely green so something changed along the way.
Maybe someone has heard from Thule?

Musta's Purple Congo I grew a few years ago outdoors at 41°N finished, defiantly not to its full potential because of coolness/too short days, but still good.

Remember there was a seed company selling purple congo maybe it was called Tropical Seeds?
Well the one they has was not a pure one like the one you have @RandyCalifornia
It always spoke to me saying plant me, grow me... :)

There was a time in my youth that I got some Dark Black/Purple weed from a African friend
It was the most potent weed I had smoked at the time and for many years after until I found the
Purple Haze Pheno it was the ony one close in potency and effect
There also appeared to me in the past couple years a black/purple Thai Pheno

Well off topic now a little, the African lines are sure special in many ways :huggg:
Looking forward to more of the Dark strains I just love the terpenes in them

Hi folks someone on ic mentioned love of landrace but i cant find the post to ask op.
Has anyone experience with them? Where do they ship from?
And most importand are their strains what they should be? They look like to have a nice selection of african strains and the pics look authentic imo.
I'm thinking of trying their kwazulu, malawi and durban but the others also look nice.

I grew a couple of his Durban last year and got two males that I crossed with CBG Durban and some other things.
I think what he sells is authentic enough. I doubt his Durban is from 1980s seeds but its still worth growing.
The Malawi looks very similar to the one RSC sells. The feral Kwa Zulu might be too authentic though. In that I think its probably almost no THC. In my experience, smoking the feral weed in SA isnt worth it.

I ordered from Khalifa but that was because he didnt have a web site then and it seemed more likely that it would be easier to get reimbursed if they got lost in customs

Seems like I'm going to have to give up on no social media 🙁
Spicy is appealing.
pretty sure that Congo Pointe Noir that they are selling came from Tropical Seeds Co.
it was supposedly collected in Cape Verde islands by a merchant marine.
provenance is suspect.

i think Colorado sativas sells tropical seeds “Double Congo” which was Congo pointe noir x Congo Black (which actually came from south Africa)

I got to try that black fermented stuff that didn't even look like anything I was familiar with. Tried it just the once and I kind of remember feeling somewhat overwhelmed by it's intensity. Today I would still consider it too strong for my liking. That was in Southern Ontario. The only thing I remember besides the look was the strength of it.

Not from Tropical Seeds Co, Congo Seed Project owner (@Benducongo or @Benfromcongo) collected the CPN himself in Congo.
The CPN at TLT is from Congo Seed Project but at a higher price.

Hi african strains lovers,

five (very) young seedlings from the Kafountine area (in Casamance).
Let's see what they will reveal...

Greetings.

PS: from the sky, this land really seems to be a perfect place to hide a field.
What a labyrinth! ^O^

Wow super Stable looking and broad cotelydons, it looks like there is not much variation in the line. This will be something so unique based on its environment super cool find!

Hi VW,

I totally agree with your accurate description; I choose some very similar seeds: fat and dark with no stripes. But, the most important is the good work of the local farmers, if you check some field pics on the forum, you'll notice the uniformity of this strain; now, patience... ; ) I'm so curious of the future result, 'cause sadly I lost my Senegal-Haze seeds and clones, and it was such a delicious weed. If, on the 5, I don't find any males, I plan to cross it with a Beldia, to create a short period 100% sativa, well adapted to heat and drought.
*.*

Have a nice and funny day.

B.
