Aeroponic PC case scrog

Hey Scrub, yes they were switched to bloom nutes when I flipped 12/12, I also Still added the grow nutes to give them a little N for transition to flower.

D.I.Try, I suppose there are risks when overdriving lamps, the case is metal and nothing next to it to catch fire, it's also plugged into a GFI outlet with quality surge protectors. I did run the light for almost a month in a safe location before installing it in the case. I have overdriven lots of fluoros in the past, I think we will be ok here.

VerdantGreen, they were flipped 12/12 11 days ago, I am not impressed with the flowering so far, they are taking forever. Hope they clump up into buds soon rather than stretching and kicking out little hairs.

Going to change them to full bloom nutes and drop the N and see what happens..

that sounds like a good plan Aero. i guess you have very little wiggle room and your system will really benefit when you know what a strain/cut is going to do in advance. you still have some height though so fingers crossed.

Hey Aero, nice grow, the first one was beautifully done, did you ever mention the quality of the smoke? I only read the first 30 or so pages lol then i had to skip to the end!

I saw you told someone not to go with seeds but for some of us we have to use pc stealth because we have no other options, how should we get clones and maintain a mother? In the case that it is not viable to do so what kind of strain would you recommend? Short, auto..etc

Also, i have a pc grow case setup with a mesh similar to yours but i want to learn more about the scrog method, does anyone have a good resource of info? What i have read so far has been somewhat vague.

Here is another update, lowered the res and I now have 2" left. The good news is that the buds are finally chunking up and stretch is slowing. It's going to be close, might be getting a crash course in LST above the screen...
Check out the pic of water standing on the leaves anywhere leaves touch eachother. I believe this is the source of occasional leaf burn not related to nutes. The overdriven PL-L is intense enough to burn the leaves if there is a water drop on it. To the left of the water drops you can see the buds are finally looking like buds...lol My nutes still haven't passed 1/3 strength and the N has been dropped completely.

lol, i'd have to agree. If they carry on growing up anything like mine i'd say you are going to need some patience and nimble fingers i'm afraid! Its simple you really can't fuck it up, only I find its one of the worst jobs, second only to manicuring, for being boring and time consuming. I'd get some sort of garden wire that u can crimp and will hold its shape - its a million times easier than a string that u must tie to the right length. Plus u can recrimp the wire to adjust later...

Not to mention my zip ties keep sliding as they fight to reach the light.
I also have only had burning from water left on the leaves so I try to knock the droplets off as best I can.
Cannot wait to see these in full bloom.

Just take all that growth above the screen and braid it. It will make it lay down flat and it might look cool too.

I don't know much about the strain except that is is supposed to be a big producer with a devastating high. I have seen pics of tis strain with thigh size colas under HID's
I'm sure this won't happen in a PC case with fluoros but I'm hoping for larger colas than last time and it looks like I am certainly making them taller. The buds are clumping up nicely now and it seems have kicked into full bloom at the moment with 1.5" left to drop the res.
The growth rate is outstanding, looks like thses colas will be bulking up quickly. I really need to get that full root shot but haven't been able to get someone to hold the screen up for me to take the pic.

I failed to give a smoke report but it was some of the best smoke I have ever had. The high was quite crippling but didn't put you to sleep until the later part of the ride. It basically made you happy to be doing nothing but kept you awake. It was also very nice because there was no racy heart, no paranoia, and no anxiety. I saved the mom, I would certainly bud the WW X OG again, great for stress and anxiety and was quite giggly too.

Grouchy, I like the braided stems idea, if you did it right you could have fat 2 headed colas... Maybe we should double root ball a nice clone, braid the buds together, and grow it under Scrubs cold cathodes for a true frankenstein grow

I think this is gonna be insane! Did you get much popcorn down low last go? Yours is looking a lot like it will end up like mine (crazy thick). It's too early to make a solid judgement on mine but I get the feeling it's not penetrating so well in the centre. I'm even considering plonking a few ccfls in the base, lol. But with the over-jigawatted bulb I reckon you'll clean up
