I actually think I might have the stretch under control, no ETA on harvest, this strain is alien to me and though it's supposed to be mosty indica, it's growing like a sativa..... maybe 2 months???

Here is some baby bud shots:

Ok, so I took some wire and tied a few down and arranged the canopy the best I could. An important note is that you can grow very close to these PL-L's, even though I burn some leaves, I consider them a casualty of war as long as I don't fry the buds. I am going to stay very close to the lights this grow because I am trying to create a deeper canopy for taller colas. Notice how much taller my scrog is than the last run.
If you look really close you can see the tips of zip ties and some wire to control the canopy. So far the wire is working best and the zip ties will no longer be used..

looks like you're just going to get away with it - and from my experience thats when you get the best yields :)

you are doing the right thing bending them rather than pruning at this stage - i always wait till they are definitely topped out before pruning - otherwise you can delay flowering by removing the hormones.

one trick for next time - if you avoid weaving over the screen and keep it all underneath when training(with th shoots going upwards still), you can sometimes pull the whole branch down by an inch or so and then put a wedge under it (between branch and screen) - big sections of the canopy can be slightly shortened like this.

love the root shots!

You are right, I think I am barely just going to get away with it!! It's been a busy scary ride so far. I didn't plan on pruning anything but leaves, everything else will be LST from now on.
The only reason I weave them through the screen is for support, If you notice the root pics, the plants are holding up the screen all on their own because of the weaving through. I agree, I could bring some of those taller colas lower by pulling them down if it wasn't for the weaving. Most of them aren't woven through the screen and I have been pulling them down, Thanks for the help bro!!

The last couple day has confirmed the stretch is either over or slowed to a crawl. The res is on the floor, not an inch to spare.... Here is a current canopy pic followed by some bud shots..

Hi Aerohead. I usually lurk in the Micro Grow forum and read all the logs. Your PC is absolutely amazing, and those photos sure show that your hard work has paid off.

Well done sir :)

those buds are going to get taller, its what colas do, id recommend removing some smaller budsites underneath and then tying the tall ones down to fill the areas you chop out

Yes, good plan, I was actually looking at it today trying to come up with a similar plan to what oyu suggested. Somehow, I'll keep them away from the lights.

Love your elegant craftsmanship and attention to detail Aero. Too bad Mac Pro cases are so expensive/tough to find (sans full computer) - it would be a dream to see one of your systems inside one of those sexy enclosures.

Best of luck with the flowering, though it seems like you've taken luck out of the equation!

You should tie them down in a circle, well more like an ovalish type pattern. But still, you could make your own crop circle. lol
