Update

Hey folks, thanks for stopping by. Here's some pics from the garden!

Trainwreck flushing out.

I'm not totally sure, but I do beleive this is a Royal Chronic flushing.

Here's the rest of the Royal Chronics flushing. Buds are so big the branches can't hold them up.

Purple Urkle kickin in week 2.

New supply tubes. I redid these to remove the piss poor job my partner did that had sags and hills.. it's much more level now.

A shot of the new right hand setup all running at once.

Cheers!

It's been fun folks, but this will be my last reply on this thread.

I've had a blast sharing my garden with everyone and I am thankful for all the help and support I've gotten from the members here.

Unfortunately, this site has lost it's direction and become a cesspool of little kids and useless crap. I don't have the time to weed thru all of little Johnny's posts on what dirt weed he paid $20 for or that his parents found his grow, etc.. etc..

Keep it Clean and Green!
Hempy

glad to see you decided to stay... or come back... however, you want to look at it.

thanks for the Awesome info and Awesome pics from day one, man.

Peace

Hempy-

I use the waterfarm system too, and I REALLY need to make it recirculate. I just don't understand how you did it, or what you did. Could you provide more detailed instructions?

My system doesn't recirculate. What I do sometimes is pump some from the buckets into the res, and let it redrain back into the system.

For me, a recirculating system runs too much risk of flooding to be an option.

Can you give me more of a detailed process of how you do that? I am getting sick and tired of having to adjust the pH of each bucket individually every few days.

If check my gallery you will see my valve modifications to the system.

As you can see in the above photo, I have a cutout in the supply system I can hook a pump to. I can either pump to waste, or recirculate the nutes back into top res unit.

Note: There is a valve between the pump and reservoir so it's not draining that, only the buckets.

Cheers!

I see how you hooked it up, maybe I just don't understand how the pump works? Where does it push the water? It looks (from that picture) that it would just push the water into the buckets. How does it bring it back up to the rez?

There's a tube I stick on the top of the pump that goes into the res. It's not present in that picture.

It's pretty simple, suck the buckets dry from the tube and pump to top res. I like to pull 5 gallons back and add 5 gallons plain water then release back into system.

The system is pumped dry after each crop and cleaned.

Visualize a tube, just like the tube connecting the buckets, sticking out of the top of that pump and the other end just stuck under the lid temporarily.

It's an inline pump, it sucks in one end (connected to system) and pumps it out a nozzle on the top. If I didn't put the hose to the reservoir, it would make a fountain.

It's not a permanent setup, I only hook the pump up when I need to drain or recirculate.

Hempy, how do you like your MegaGarden?

Please tell me how tall, typically, your plants are when moving from veg to flower?

I have heard that they usually about double in size from beginning of flower to end...is this true? I know that this will vary depending on strain, but some idea would be very helpful!

From a soon-to-be first time grower, thank you very much for all your efforts!!
