Nice maxi I am finding if I give weak nutes in veg and then bump them up when they start flowering they get huge colas, that one will have massive arms on her come harvest.
Nice job mate.

Thx for the nice words everyone. I ll transmit to the plant these comments, it ll make her happy.

BM the girl got her switch the 8th of march, so it should be around 48 days of bloom by now.

I think I have around 6 to 8 weeks left to go and a coming potassium deficiency arriving soon (you already can see it on the pic above). I ll have to solve this issue and I was wondering if anyone had already tried wood ashes mixed with water to bring phosporous and potassium to the plants?
It is what I m going to try tomorrow and a little experience with this would have been aprreciated.

That lady looks incredible, but I dont see anything that would make me think there is a K deficiency in the works. If anything Id worry more about Nitrogen becoming deficient. The lowest fan leaves are a paler shade of green than the upper ones.

Please do continue to share her with us as time goes by. Id love to see how she turns out in the end.

Zanddar I hope you are OK!

I ended up with 9 females and 3 males, a few are getting really tall and others are staying short.
Will have to start bending those tall girls over soon to try and make a fairly even canopy.

Hello everyone.

Just got my camera back and will have to play with the settings.

Been hanging out in the African jungle. Pack the bowl and disappear for awhile. :smoker:

Some of you have your own nice African jungle to get lost in.

First pics show the 2 males in veg.

Have 7 female in flower today and 2 female waiting to go in.
Very sticky and woody smells.

Last pics are 2 females in veg.

Grow On. :watchplant:

I found that 14-15 is a favorite week for malawi (maybe some phenotypes )
During this period, the effect takes real strength and power, making rich and deeper
i wish you patience maxibiogreen
regards

Hi BM-504,

I'm glad that you have had a good female ratio from your Malawi standard pack. As you have experienced, this kind of tropical sativas usually produce 70 % female ratio (or higher) under good conditions.

Hopefully you are sucessfully taming their vigour with the bending and horizontal training. Please, let us know if you have any doubt. Best wishes for the flowering!

Can't wait to see the outcome of these new Malawis.
Best wishes for the flowering!

Impressive job maxibiogreen

I love the way you are growing your Malawi, you are a very talented grower.

Your Malawi looks killer indeed, amazing yield, resin production and flower/leaf ratio.

As bwoyrude pointed out, you can let her mature 2-3 weeks more to reach its peak of potency, yield and resin production, but be ready for a VERY strong effect :)
