wuts the difference between the fem and standard? Looks great madmac and maxibloom!

Hi GET MO,

The current Malawi standard release is Old Killer Malawi pollinated by different 3rd generation Malawi males.

The feminized version is also Old Killer Malawi pollinated by New Killer Malawi reversed (sister of the 3rd generation males used in the standard reproduction).

So both lines are basically in the same breeding step and have a very similar genetic composition.

I found that 14-15 is a favorite week for malawi (maybe some phenotypes )
During this period, the effect takes real strength and power, making rich and deeper
i wish you patience maxibiogreen
regards

Hi bwoyrude,

as I ve stated with the pic this girl is a possible 14 weeker but do not be worry amigo if it needs 15 i ll give her that extra week.
I think when u start playing with sativas patience is al ready an acquired vertu. ;)

Flush has started, flowers are tight, tighter than I expected, plant colors are changing slowly to a paler green.
Scents aren't that pronounced in the room.Even when you touch the buds the smell isn't very impressive, not much strenght to the smell but you know al ready, I would not be able to explain why, that it is strong material you have there.

Hi Max...Any amber on those trichromes? And how much of the plant do you allow to amber. I know on sativas I usually start to see amber and I flush and harvest.

Good luck,
Painfull :tiphat:

I was very surprised by the density of inflorescences of the malawi, is comparable to the indica strains. you can hammer nails with this buds

I m not really into looking at the trichs Painfull, it s more like an overall look at the buds/plant what she drinks, the way flowers hold together and it seems to work this way for me.
My trick is to let go one more week when I believe it s ready (shanti or soma's words)

Things are coming along with the Malawi's.
They are at 7 weeks into 12/12 as you can see some are really yellowing and others are still really green...... all have had the same food.

I do have one frost freak not bad for 7 weeks. Some of the green ones are just starting to get some frost.

Heading out the door to go fishing!

Looking good Max and similar to my keeper Malawi.
Be patient and let the buds fill in a bit more if you like.

Cut one near 16 weeks and it gets quite strong. Surprises everyone and demands respect.
Nice to have one hoot and be good, but of course I never stop at just one. :smoker:

BM nice bushes, bud and will be real nice.

MOK-8 near 4 weeks and one week ahead of the others.

The rest are starting to flower now near 3 weeks.

Good Luck :tiphat:

Thanks for the advice Zanddar but since I began flushing al ready the plant is now lacking of many different nutrients and i m not sure i ll be able to make her recover for another 21 days(16 weeks) at this point..... Even though she is in a 80ltr container filled up with rich soil and been fed with 1.2ec solution every time i gave her some to drink she has al ready nothing left to eat in the container nor in itself and you can easily see it by the look of the girl after few flushing days (seems like a long sentence , hope every one can understand the meaning.)
I ll try my best anyway.....

Judging by your last pics, some would consider it done already. That plant is still pushing out pistils and could go on water another 2 weeks.
Depending on time and room, I like to let them use up most of the food. Let them use it up now or burn it later in your pipe.

Even though some would consider her ripe enough I do not. Only thing I did not take in consideration is that she al ready had swallowed all nutrients in the mix,,, i m surprised of the turn she took when I switched to flushing,,, it was instant change..
Malawi isn't a low feeder sativa... (depending of your size plants of course)
Now I rezalise that I ve started too soon the flushing phase but I m confident i ll still get some good results. and I will definitly wait as long as possible.

Hi Maxi looking awesome, I am with Zandar on leaving her as long as possible, my Zam I followed Terpenes log and left her till near death.
She was still flowering slowly when all the shades were dead and the sugar leaves had half died and all yellow. The difference is day and night. You have come this fa, let her die for you well, nearly anyway. You will not regret it mate.

give it a rest bro

give it a rest bro

What does that tell you??

Hey vinrusso, please don't take this the wrong way but you're getting a bit boring about this.

I'm not sure why you're wasting your time sniping here when you could be breeding your own 150% sativa strain or whatever might make you happy.

I'm just saying, man, try and be positive or maybe just take it somewhere else.

All the peace and love in the world, TEC.
