what is the "new Killer" malawi? iv been familiar with the Killer pheno they worked with... but this one seems "new" ;) lol

Hi Cannabliss420,

The New Killer Malawi is a 3rd generation Malawi parental plant found past year in our latest Malawi selection and reproduction.

It's stronger and more resinous than the Old Killer Malawi ( the mother that started the seedline), it's also more compact and a bit faster to flower.

Malawi feminized stock available joins both parental plants in one seedline: Old Malawi Killer x New Malawi Killer (reversed).

You can also find New Malawi Killer standard offspring in our Malawi Standard Breeders Pack.

Hope it helps!

Out of all my new beautiful Aces Malawi is the worst looking one. Does she hate nutrients? The Hazex KAli China looks like a Sequoia tree.

Hi Jeeyah,

Malawi seedlings need very little nutrients in their first weeks of life, we recommend to provide them good quality and well ventilated soil and good quality water with low nutrients, especially Nitrogen.

Malawi accepts much better PK when the size of the plant is big.

Let us know if you have any other doubt.

Kind regards

Would the Malawi feminized seeds I bought this last November (11-01-14) possibly have the new Malawi cross? One smells incredible while another has not much smell, is twice as big and about a month behind the aromatic one. I'm trying to decide which of the two phenos go in my swamp grow.

The nice smelling one could be from the fruity side, finish faster with better taste and great sativa up high.

The woody smelling or longer flowering plant could be more like the Malawi Killer mom and more narcotic.

I just got some elephant manure. I feel its appropriate to top dress the Malawi's with it.

Malawi loves organics and you should shovel a few piles around your swamp plant to get a big pile of good smoke.

Thanks zandar that's what I was hoping to hear about those two. I have 1 sweet and 3 woody cuttings vegging for about 3 weeks now. Will put them out in another 4 weeks. I figure with the day length then at 13 1/2 hours and getting longer every day will keep them in there veg cycle.
I can only get enough elephant manure for a symbolic addition but on my way to the swamp I have to go through a cow pasture and I carry one of those grocery store shopping bags with me every time I go to add cow manure to the grow beds.
I made one grow bed last week with natural elements I found in the swamp. Old cabbage palm tree rotten, crumbled the fibers added cow manure and black swamp dirt and some ground up alfala meal. I'm going to start building my plant beds out of natural elements from now on. Too risky hauling bags of coco coir, pearlite, vermiculite. How do you explain that to someone?lol

Much easier to tell them you took your cow or elephant for a walk and are picking up after them.

Whatever grows in the swamp will get big and scary. :alien:

I have a ZD that looks like that. I had a few but the rest were males. Now only one Malawi leaning pheno left. She's bigger than her sister pheno's. Twice as tall. Thicker. And her buds are bigger and wider. They started flowering out rather than up pretty quickly. The other pheno's have much tighter internodes. The Malawi leaner wants to stretch till the end.

These standout to me and many other nice plants too.

Most people will have favorites and be interested to see how they finish.

Malawi finishing heavy in maybe 2 weeks, another starting and MOK seedlings.
This Malawi that just went in is bigger, better than last and expect a big finish.
Seedlings are on the taller side and the smaller ones came up last.
