Damn why the fuck would they recall remesh? I got 6.5' trellis netting , imo nets are easier/better that cages for the second third layers of support

yeah remesh recall is kinda odd.. i have about half a roll of hortanova left over from last year for the ones that get too big. i hated the trellis come harvest time tho
Are you planning on doing only inner cage or 2 layer caging with trellis?

They recall it for strength test failures... not everyone is using it to support beasts! haha

Although I don't think the concrete guys are having as much fun as us :dance013:

Ya the wire breaks where its welded. Its a structure thing for concrete because it has to pass certain criteria as far as earth movement and being drove over. Bridges actually build a wave in the concrete with enough weight per tire and speed. No concern for cannabis growers.

just the inner cage. then probably at least 2 layers of trellis.

just cut through it for harvest. its a pain though i feel you, but i would imagine that dealing with big cages would be worse but idk

That is the lankiest Ancient OG ive ever seen! i dont see any snow lotus there, just stretchy landrace growth. you might want to save a cut of that for breeding,

Ha those things look tough as shit in those remesh high towers! You going for a 3rd layer in remesh too? Do you not use trellis because you don't think it's strong enough or just hate working with it and cutting it out? I don't like using remesh for the outer cages because the rust gets on the nuggets and it gets so expensive

We get told every summer for the past three years it'll be an El Niño winter. But look where we are. People in a broken system trying to make a name and I told u so rights.

Hope it is a wet winter for all us. November bring on the rain. I don't have any sativas going.

looking great man! i also heavily weighed going cages for 2nd layer, but eventually i just caved and did tposts/bamboo/trellis with double zip ties on all the tops….just had so much bamboo and posts from last year didn't want to go spend thousands on cages. plus last year we had some crazy rain/winds in october and everything held together. had one zip tie break out of 72 plants but it wasn't that castrophic the hortinova holds together very good, just sucks to cleanup!!

Plants look clean! Ahh dude that last pic just bummed me out. Been taking my time and now I've got about 3 million hrs of cleaning my plants out ahead of me and then time for the 3rd cage. Some of my BBHP's are so suckered out its mind blowing. What do you switch up in your teas for bloom?

Looking good, stakndank! They are all about the same size, uniform. Ok a couple qualify as super monsters. Firing on all cylinders.

Liking the more open canopy. It does take away a few good fan leaves which help to feed the plant, but they seem to have plenty of foliage to keep them fed. Best part about opening them up is the light should penetrate the canopy more and give more big quality flowers... Taking notes.. thanks for sharing! Have a good weekend, get some rest, going to be busy in the next few weeks! :smoke:

we were lucky to have a cloudy day yesterday to get alot done in cooler weather. we add Vital Earths liquid seabird guano bloom in the tea at the end of the brew cycle.
