damn rooms are lookin impressive...so clean too. i showed a friend who runs a 40lighter the pics and he was blown away...sped off after the smoke session to go clean up his spot lol. said his setup is "embarassing" compared to yours..
Any room that I have been in that had problems always had dead leaves on the floor and always had a musty smell. We clean the floors every other day inside and out.Jack

Hey jack i was wondering to what degree you think running the lights glass less has on the yield and quality? Have u run glass in similar set ups? I'm curious. Thanks for sharing your rooms are an inspiration.
Glass just blocks the light and creates alot of issues unless the glass is taken down every couple days and cleaned on both sides.Even then you still have a big glass blocking light and causing a bunch of heat issues. Its alot easier to get a big ac then hoods, fans, ducting etc.I still use a couple old Mangum XXXL but I removed the glass.
so ive been running with Aptus and Canna Substra as a base for the past week and i can definitely notice a difference. My veg is growing at a faster rate than ive ever seen and are overall even healthier looking then before. (my veg was looking the best it probably ever has before i started aptus). The stems seem thicker already. I was using Protekt silica before which i liked, but im amazed on the thickness of the stems of my og's moms. Ive also noticed the startboost has amazing results with fresh rooted cuts, serious root explosion after

In flower i already had things going at different stages, so its not a legitimate aptus run. But things are already looking frostier and more mature at an earlier stage than i have seen.
I had tahoes at 2 weeks flower, and they didnt like the transition from the full canna line to aptus as much as others. Some bty og's look GREAT, as well as true and diablo, but everyone of the tahoes i had got a slight lime green coloring around the budsites.

The flower additives REALLY drop the ph. i was told its the peakboost that does it the most. But man im having to use a lot of ph up to get my ph in range, have you noticed this as well jack? im talking canna substra base with all the aptus boosters coming out at a ph in the mid-low 3.0 range
Ya Ph will drop in the 3.0 to 3.9 range rite when you mix all the boosters mainly Peak but I have not had any issues rite after using PH up and watering. I went away from using Silca as up since Aptus has it covered and just use PH up... Glad to hear its working for you its some really good stuff...

Depends on how long we veg but what we are doing is opening up the plants as much as possible so instead of up we go out in every direction. So say the cutting is 6" we would typically put the screen rite above it and as it vegged weave the main stalk through the net and as the secondary shoots started to shoot those would get weaved in the oppisite direction once the screen is 3/4 or full then flip the more plants the early flip less plants more time to fill out trellis. Hope this explains it.Then the first 3 weeks of flip every other day the plants are trained through the trellis never miss a day this is the most important time. JACK

Make complete sense. Like a starfish.

Wow rooms are looking real real good. Seems like aptus gets some amazing results. Just read a 2 page aptus column in nug mag.

Nice work as always Jack and thank you for sharing your work. You got some skills bro, nobody can ever take that away from you!

Now with out sounding like a poopie scoopie.....I have read and read and read and questioned technical support for Aptus and I do get it, I really do. BUT there is this HUGE mozza ball still hanging out there which is the price of Aptus. Running the numbers and even being able to cut back on base nutrients and not needing anything else....it STILL just does not equal out or add up.

Lets take the flag ship product which is according to Aptus the Facilitator product. This stuff is a pure form of silica that the plants can uptake immediately. Silica normally has to go through stages with bacteria and enzymes before being in a form the plants can use. I will spare you all the technical details but basically what Aptus did is run the biological processes under there controlled environment and then when ready they filter everything out and stabilize it and add there other components. What you get in the bottle is a very refined material. Solid science and it works.

There are several new technologies floating around out there like Cyco nutrients for example. They make a "protein" based formula. There tech requires them to let the biological processes produce amino's that are the building blocks of proteins. After prep they refine it and filter it and stabilize it and what you get in the bottle are the proteins....

If you really put a little effort forward you can achieve at or near same results but LOTS cheaper combining the power of organics into your plant nutrition program. Nothing beats mother nature after all, even the Aptus folks tell you that.

We are paying the import markup. Aptus is half the price in europe.

Jack what are your thoughts/experience with Heavy 16 Fire?

Me and Y4P got some samples bottles today and I was wondering your take on it, or any pertinent info you'd like to share.

Thanks in advance.

PS you should be getting your nutes for free since when you use what ever you use, their products sell that much more. I hope to one day get my projects as dialed.

hey bro got a few questions hoping your answers can help me with my current project. Forgive me if any of this has been asked, I read the whole thread but it was over a week ago.

1. If you dont pump the tea through the rez and pump system, how do you go about applying it in a large room?
2. I noticed your rezs are in the room, do you run a chiller, what size?
3. What temp do you run your nute rez?
4. When feeding 3 times per day should you use 1/3 strength base nutes? What kinda PPM/EC have you found bests for your set up?

If you can give me everything that Aptus does including when to feed what booster at what stage I will try it and post it here.It all needs to be ready to go just mix and go.Jack

damn man.
i want to eat those with a fork and knife.
bravo sir.
THANKS BRO.

I have only used Fire from Heavy one time and the results where ok I would like to give it a go in the big rooms but at the moment we are have a really good run with Heavy plus Aptus & Capulator tea..

Its a little tricky but on the leader pumps if the ball valve is open from the rez to the pump the pump will sifen without being on so we use a hose open up the ball valve and feed the tea. As far as EC it depends on strains and veg time but 800 to 1000 ppm is a good range the days we feed Aptus where rite at 800 to 1000 ppm then the days we feed tea where around 250 to350 ppm and the days we do base only 600 to 800 ppm. During peak flower we will go as high as 1200 to 1500 ppm but this is not the norm. What works for some strains dosent work for others..JACK

Leader pumps are the shit. Little pricy but made in Italy.

Just got my caps in the mail. So your saying that you would not recommend watering them in through a pump/manifold/dripper setup? You wouldn't do it through a pump/wand either?
Had no idea about that feature with the leader pumps I'm gon a check one of mine out when I get home.

Have you tested the Nature's Nectar line (not including Pure Flowers)? I also highly recommend trying some bluewater alchemy Gaia's Harvest and test that on a couple. Both are doing a superb job considering the near-shitshow I've got going on here, and the feeding schedule for Nature's Nectar is the same for each week... which I've followed and it's worked out great so far (in week 6 now) whether or not I ph'd the water.
