Jack, as many have said thank you thank your for sharing! I read through the thread, and maybe it was asked, but i don't recall if it's been mentioned but are they in 4x4 or 4x8 beds? One light over each 4x4 area? And are the plants 4x4, 16 under each light?

Amazing! I picked up the small sample pack, fasilitor / start&growth (my guy @ the store insisted i try it since i always give him a heads up on my side by sides), and it proved itself for sure so i've added to my regime.

I'd like to try one row of lights in beds to compare to my usual 5 gal pots and hopefully make the switch, beds seem so much more ideal in the long run!

Also, glad to see many positive reviews of the CAPS bennies, someone had recommended trying them out.
2-4x4 smart pots in every 4x8 botanicare deep tray. 2 x 1000 watts over every 4x8, 15 to 20 plants per light. 10 to 14 day veg topped twice, first 3 weeks of flip weave every other day dont miss a day..Jack:artist:

I am gonna try this stuff I just got a plant that gave me almost 3 ounces in 3 gallon organics. With its growth profile I can fit 16 under a 1k watt. Buds are perfectly dense and deceptive looking weight really want to see what this shit does with it, lol. No doubt there is some magic going on and I don't think it is just the co2 mad props on this grow impressive.

Yeah those adjust a wings are great for light coverage and dissipating heat directly under the bulb. The spread and overlap is prob whats getting him those huge nugs (besides co2 and nute regimen) IMO Regardless of how much light you have, your canopy temps are what matters most not necessarily room temp. The lumen loss from them being so far is prob negligible because he's got a good amount of light in that room.

Seems like you keep your lights just far enough to get the canopy temps where you'd want. Have you ever tried bell lighting reflectors? Amazingly simple yet very functional design. I have plants about 8 inches under a 1000w bulb and no burning or adverse effects. it's def not ideal but everything looks great and next run I'm just gonna have to control the stretch a little better.

You ever cease to amaze me! Your pix always blow my mind man! I'm about to convert a 7 lighter to fully sealed. Any recommendations on AC units? I need something quiet but the excel air 5 ton I've got is not exactly quiet enough for residential applications despite their "stealth" claims LOL

do you have any issues planting multiple plants per pot? Seems a lot of people recommend against it but obviously it CAN work.

And lastly what kind of pumps do you use to brew your teas? Do you use the GH 4 outlet pumps or something more heavy duty like the ones that come in the UC systems?

Sorry for all the questions hopefully I'm not the only one with the same questions...

When I was growing indoors a few years back I bought an infrared thermometer and checked bud temps. It's been awhile but do remember there was a difference in bud appearance and temperature. I was running 600's in an open room with 6' ceilings. Not much I could do about manipulating canopy/bud temps in that setup but the observations made were interesting.

Jack,

Just brewed my first batch of bennies! :thank you: Although I was expecting to see/smell a change in the solution after brewing for 24hrs. I followed your recipe to the T, minus the alfalfa as I couldn't get it in time. Do you notice a change in the mix after brewing 24hrs, or is it pretty much the same milky whitish brownish color with an organic aquarium smell after? Just want to compare notes, I know these things (biological) if not performed correctly can easily go awry.

Also, I think you water with bennies 'alone' the day that you do.. Just wondering if they can go into a mix with nutrient salts, or will that kill/hinder them?

Thanks!

LOL if it was described In Detail then why'd your Tea come out white? Did you just throw airstones in the bucket with no pump?? Becuase you do need a pump to make air stones bubble. The more powerful the pump the more bubbles.

I obviously know he uses airstones but those things aren't just gonna make bubbles on their own.

My question is what pumps he specifically uses. if he answered this it might help both of us get the brown color and foam he's saying the tea should come out like.

And FYI Im almost sure it's been stated (in this thread) that any nutrient solution with over 50 PPM of phosphorous will deplete your beneficials/colonies. Now I'm not gonna go through 25 pages to quote this but this is fact so whether it was stated or not your welcome.

It's never a waste of time when making observations and taking measurements. Only difference i ever noted was with increased canopy temps the buds appearance did suffer which is exactly what i would have thought would have happened. I guess it's all about dialing in that sweet spot?

Now finding the right tools that work is a little bit harder. For the longest time I used a cheap ass lumen meter from hydrofarm and it was a POS and didn't tell me anything. Went straight into the grbage.

I had a pretty nifty IR thermometer but I lost it. I def need to buy a new one for this new room I'm building.

Jack, I think a lot of us have questions about the tea brewing process. Could you post pics of your brew setup, as well as detailed instructions on exactly how you make it and use it?

Since this seems to be one of the key ingredients to your success I think it needs to be flushed out a bit more..

Just got a liter of Fasilitor and about to run it with H&G. Running Cookies on DTW in Coco. Hopefully this is a secret key I can use to up the mediocre yield on her.

If anyone wants to follow someone who's not as pro as Jack giving the fasilitor a go; you can follow my progress here:

Oh and Jack have you ever double dosed fasilitor in the first week or two of flower to control stretch? I'm seriously contemplating it because GSC is a stretcher and I'm limited on my vert space. Their video says it's fine, but I'm scared to roast them. Cheers.

I've read the thread, and am very impressed not only with your results, but with the overall look of your gardens.

It's possible you answered this somewhere and I missed it, but could you talk a little bit about the timing and technique of: 1) You pruning, and 2) Your trelis set up.

We will generally start at 500 ppm and at week 1 flower be around 900 then at peak flower top out at an ec of 2.0 I really like lower doses more frequently I have 1 room I am doing 800 ppm all the way until flush... I have pushed plants hard but There is really no need with a 14 Dday veg..

Thanks for the info jack!!!! Your rooms are epic. Please keep the info coming!!!

Your shit is dialed and very professional... a rare thing in this industry so kudos. I have been trying to find info on DTW chow mix for optimizing growth rates and yield on my upcoming tree grow. The info and techniques I have found on this thread have helped me immensely and I will be implementing many of your techniques so thank you Jack! I will be subed and watching this thread closely.

THIS SHIT IS CLEAN!!!

Blackberrys kicking out day 22-23 frost. Nothing special on my OG's yet. Bubbas are looking real nice. For those looking for more stretch control. Really think need to start the Fasilitator double dose week one.

Its getting real ugly in Cali the Feds are out and they are on a tear they started in Sandiego and have worked there way up the coast over the last 2 weeks they have raided or shut down over 50 clinics they have been going from one city to the next and back again. I watched with my own eyes a patient walking up to a closed clinic get his head smashed into the concrete by a fed, Then snapped a picture of his car and left. Even clinics that are in full compliance with city and state law are being raided. Long Beach is next then LA then Nor Cal..Its election year stay safe every one its going to get much worst before it gets better, Colorado is next on the radar after they shut down all of Cali,..Jack
