Its got to be the easiest fish to catch. i'll get my tip-ups set up first thing with minnows and let them soak all day waiting for the bigger fish. once they're going switch over to crushing perch. just a worm or maggot and flash jig... sometimes you get one almost every cast. as much fun as it is I still long for the summer days walking remote streams all day with the dog. There's an area in northern Maine called Katahdin Ironworks, thousands of acres of pristine wilderness... more streams and brooks than you can count with waterfalls and picture-perfect scenery... truly special place I would encourage anyone to put it on their bucket list
