just reading the writing on the wall.

neolibs are doing the bare minimum and are within the margin of error to lose to trump lol. that's just an embarrassing failure as an organization. an FDR type social democrat would be smashing trump by double digits right now, it wouldn't be remotely close.

Yup. All they had to do was pick someone else to beat him. It will be one for the history books. atleast until they get banned

You are one of the few people here who understands that even the furthest leftist in this country is still right of center as far as a world view is considered...
If the wealthy paid a substantial tax...
:( i agree, but that's not gonna happen if they have ANY say in the matter. and they have quite a bit of say in the matter, unfortunately. talking walks, money rides in a Rolls...

Does not make sense that none of the republican candidates have the rocks to call out Chump for the insurrection, the 60 lost court cases concerning ballot counting, or his 90 felony charges. It seems that everyone is afraid he will unleash the wackos on them as he did on Pelosi.

Liberals defend capitalism, the status quo, & imperialism.

Leftists do not.

Liberals think they can reform their way out of this mess.

Leftists do not.

It's because they have no shot to win without trump

They are not. Neoliberalism is a right wing ideology. These people make up 99.9% of your party.

deregulated capitalism, small government, privatization.... sounds very leftist lmfao

That's sounding like right wing ideology.

But even the left in this country is right of center.

That's what I was saying earlier.

I don't know what neoliberalism is so I'm fairly sure that wasn't what I was talking about...

What is my party?

i can't fathom your arguments when you cannot differentiate between the left and right.

"One is on better ground arguing that neoliberalism is a twentieth century revival of classical liberal ideas in response to certain unique twentieth century challenges. Neoliberalism arose in the late 1940s as a response to three twentieth century ideologies that advocated large states: communism (as the most prominent form of socialism), fascism, and social democracy."

left, in politics, the portion of the political spectrum associated in general with egalitarianism and popular or state control of the major institutions of political and economic life. The term dates from the 1790s, when in the French revolutionary parliament the socialist representatives sat to the presiding officer’s left. Leftists tend to be hostile to the interests of traditional elites, including the wealthy and members of the aristocracy, and to favour the interests of the working class (see proletariat). They tend to regard social welfare as the most important goal of government. Socialism is the standard leftist ideology in most countries of the world; communism is a more radical leftist ideology.

libertarianism, political philosophy that takes individual liberty to be the primary political value. It may be understood as a form of liberalism, classical liberalism in particular, the political philosophy associated with the English philosophers John Locke and John Stuart Mill, the Scottish economist Adam Smith, and the American statesman Thomas Jefferson. Liberalism seeks to define and justify the legitimate powers of government in terms of certain natural or God-given individual rights. These rights include the rights to life, liberty, private property, freedom of speech and association, freedom of worship, government by consent, equality under the law, and moral autonomy (the ability to pursue one’s own conception of happiness, or the “good life”).

now you know who you are.

Well first of all I wasn't arguing.

I wasn't really referring to neoliberalism either.

I think cannavore is simply drawing lines and I think I can understand what he's saying.

You... well you I don't really care about... but thanks for trying to help.

You're doing great.

you don't either. you think MAGA is far right but in reality it is a step or two beyond that. it is a fascist movement.

and now that I've got your attention again, i've asked you point blank 2 times in this thread if you believe in democracy.

the first time you completely ignored the question and the second time your reply was "i don't believe we have a democracy". which also sidestepped the question.

so, i'm going to ask you directly, once again, do you or do you not believe in democracy?

is it so hard to say the words "yes" or "no"?
