nice try bucko
it wasn't a try. it was a valid question for which you have no answers. i agree with much of what you say. i know capitalism is fucked up. and so does everyone else. you are not convincing anyone of anything they don't already know. but, since it seems to be the de facto form the societies of the entire world have now totally embraced what do you propose we do about it?

i mean this from a practical viewpoint as i understand that getting the general population of the world to simultaneously rise up and physically destroy the oppressors is not a practical goal and is not achievable.

in lieu of that, maybe the way forward is an incremental one. we have to start somewhere.

your extreme position precludes any start at all. you are diagnosing an incurable illness that has it's roots in the very basic nature of human character.

may i submit to you that a third party that is moderately socialist is a good starting point. we have to create the circumstances that enable change.

I certainly hope it ain't true...yall better hope so too
with existing computer technology and AI it is an easy matter to classify and categorize everyone. on all levels from benign ones like targeted advertising to evil ones like tracking firearm and ammo purchases, intelligence gathering on political leanings, activity level as in "are they just passive bitchers or do they actually intend to do something?"

what are the connections and political beliefs groups of people share? how are they communicating?

if information exists it will be used. it will be cross-referenced, correlated, and analyzed.

credit card data, cell phones, and club memberships.

are you hoarding food and ammo? are you building a bunker?

we have no privacy anymore. we are open books.

you're already on a watchlist! along with everyone else!
well, probably not EVERYONE, but i'd guess that most long-time members of sites for (currently) illegal activity have been identified. i had a "deep dive" done on myself (long story) and i seem to be on at least one list. they turned up shit i had forgotten even happened. :whistling: i never fly though, so...it won't affect me until they "kick in the door".
