Boron and Calcium

Boron and Calcium

With all that said, I would draw attention to the calcium and boron ranges. At 8% plus of Calcium and the highest THC in the article, I think this is pretty clear all by itself.

This is one of the highest boron levels in any crop that I have ever heard of ever, again according to this article. The reference to the procedure used is not available. I will ask at Spectrum tomorrow what the highest boron levels are in other crops tomorrow...

Thus the idea of going crazy with boron should be cautioned. Likewise, experimentation is obviously warranted.

Hopefully other growers will start adding to the information data base as we go. In the future, please ask for aluminum if possible.

Super information!!!

To piggyback on nickel's post I changed the values to the highest dry weight numbers. I don't think this means much. The three highest yields (take it with a grain of salt since highest yield was 2.77g. 76cm height. 10 nodes.) had the three highest Cu values with highest yielder having the most Cu. They also had lower Mg.

You can't really make any conclusions from this. For example the highest yielder had the highest K but the second lowest yielder had the third highest K along with medium Cu and mid-low Mg. Wish I knew how to do math and statistics.

N- 4.96 % vs article data range 1.7 - 2.5% *Highest dry weight at 1.9% second at 1.7%
P- .43% vs article data range .15-.37% *Highest dry wt at .22% and 2nd highest .33%.
K- 2.21% vs"" 1.8-4.1% *Hdrywt 4.1% second 3.7%
Ca-2.11% vs"" 2.4-8.3% *Hdrywt 3.4% second 4.3%
Mg-0.38% vs .25-.74% Hdrywt .25% second .27%
S- .68% vs. .26-.54% Hdrywt .28% 0.3%
B- 41ppm vs 150-300 ppm Hdrywt 150ppm, 230ppm
Fe 92ppm vs84-216 ppm Hdrywt 117ppm, 114
Mn 18ppm vs 76-602 ppm Hdrywt 99ppm, 139
Zn 8 ppm vs 71-112 ppm Hdrywt 80ppm, 78
Cu 1.7ppm vs 7-16 ppm Hdrywt 18ppm, 15

Great info guys. Had tons of work done yesterday and some friends over. Got lots to do today. I want to get into this convertation, because there have been some amazing analysis already.

I have some info from Taino that should confuse things a little more, =). I will post that up later today I hope, if not tomorrow. I will also post up the recommendations I have been basing my info off of. I noticed Avenger posted up a great nutrient requirement for cannabis reference, which I plan to address. Great info! I have been going off Logan Labs recommendations for Tomatoes, and what Bill Mckibben told me. I will dive into that tomorrow, hope you guys have a great day and please continue on.

http://loganlabs.com/customer-tools.html (bottom right corner has soil, paste, and tissue recommendations)

Got these set up all over the property. I can check my camera's and weather station from my phone, anywhere I get service.

Temps got down to 37 last night, with lots of rain and hail. Hope the plants are doing ok.

GENIUS! I would have never thought of that (the weather station part), but that just got added to my post harvest splurging list.

yeah you,d run after you emptied your pants , lol you wouldn't go back either which is the most important thing . even if you worked out must be trip wire system .

i hate this side of the game , it taints what its all about .

Yea, its pretty shitty part of it. To me, thats the part about how the legalization isn't working that shows the most. Its not really legal and accepted until you can plant it right next to hops, tomatoes, or grape vines, without worrying about getting robbed, raided, shot, etc. Until it gets no more notice then a hops plant would....

Max,

What are you testing exactly and at what time of the day?

i'm testing a batch of top leaves and a batch of bottom leaves from several different plants to compare for:
brix
pH
ca
k
always within the first 2 hours of uncovering/ lights on/ sun up.

Max,

I would imagine that the side of the plant might be an issue as well.

Are you using leaves or petioles?

Leaves in the shade or in the light?

What are your pH and brix numbers been like so far?

Which leaves exactly?

Do you have any data? Age/numbers/etc..? Variety?

i take from the same side of both beds.
just leaves no petioles.
top and bottom leaves get light.
when the suns out right around 6.4 brix fuzzy 12.
tops- about 6" down , bottoms- about a foot up , lowest after pruning.
i write down the info in a book i have for each day also what i fed. mostly all wifi this time.

So......

I came home last week with cops standing outside my house. It was odd, they all were on their cell phones, and I wasn't sure if they were taking video or what...... They forced their way into the house and started to tear everything apart. My heart stopped, and started to think about all the things they could find, or what they were looking for. My dogs were barking non stop, and the cops just kept on tearing up the place like they were looking for something specific. They passed right by the jars of herb, and even the stacks of money I had left out. Now I was getting worried about what they might be looking for if that didn't intrest them......Must be something bad.

All the sudden, the chief ran inside and yelled. "Hey dummies, the Pokemon is next door!" Then they all ran out of the house just as fast as they came in. The end.

LOL. My computer went down due to a virus. I wasn't about to update my thread on my phone, sorry everybody. I am super busy on top of that, my deps are coming in again and my full season is demanding attention. I will try to finish up our soil conversation, but the momentum is just not there for me, however I will address that soon I hope. Sorry for the delay, hope everybody is doing well.

Not the task force, but I have had the cops in my house as well. Not cool at all.

I mostly copied that from a friends facebook post. I thought it was of low taste, but funny. So I repeated it. Sorry if that was in too poor of taste.

The garden is kicking into full gear, and seems to be at least two weeks into flower. If I get all my gear harvested by Oct 1st I will be a happy man. I think most started to flower a tad early because they are root bound. The Cindy's that were started later are still vegging, and the Ancient Og's seem like they just started to flower in the larger pots.

The AOG's are HUGE. I am talking 14' tall and 10' diameter. They seem to be the healthiest plants on the property as well. The AOG in my dep is a super lemon pheno.

I have hit the AOG in my deps with the AOG male pollen and two different Cindy 99 males. So hopefully if the pollen was still viable, we will see some f2's soon.

14x10 very nice! my biggest plants are all AOG's too. Still only about 9x9 though, not nearly as big as yours. I can't imagine how much yours will yield considering mine are the biggest they've ever been at this point and they have always finished in the double digits before.

that AOG man, It's crazy how they grow, they never stop stretching and reaching for the sun.

i've seen three distinct phenos outdoors. The most common is the stretchy lemon/citrus pheno. I've also had one that was very sweet/berry smelling like some of bodhi's other snow lotus crosses. And the biggest one i've grown reminded me of Afgooey kinda

I made f2's with a few different phenos and willl keep them separate for testing. one of the females i pollinated was a stretchy lemon pheno, IMO the most desireable, so those seeds will get a special place in my garden next year i think and also probably be the first ones to get f3'd

I am not sure I have had the afgooey pheno, but one of my current plants looks much more indica leaning than the others. Still sativa dom however. Time will tell. I really like the stretchy lemon pheno also. Support is a nightmare, but the finished product mixed with high yields makes AOG second to none. Thanks again for the first real documentation of AOG that I know of, credit where credit is due.

Last week, temps got up to 108! The bottom part scrolls and right before what is posted was "high temp for the day" ....... then 108

I took clones of the plants I want the most. My numbers limit me, so I had a buddy clone everything in the garden. However last year a different buddy promised the same thing, and ended up killing all the clones. So this year, I made sure I took matters into my own hands as well.

Hey Foothill, just a thought. Take all those male flowers out of the jars because if there is any moisture in them it will sterilize the pollen. I use tweezers to pull out the male flowers and wipe the tweezers with damp cloth, then a dry one after I finish each strain so I don't cross contaminate pollen.

Last outdoor season I left the flowers in my pollen, but it didn't ruin any from the moisture... But, while collecting pollen for my spring crop I left some moist flowers in and the pollen turned almost paste-like, totally unusable.

Just be careful because it sucks when you loose all that time collecting pollen due to a few moist male flowers. Then you might not get the f2's and f1 crosses hope for.

Your garden is killing it by the way!
