might be tight but should make it through the year

Thats great news Tonto, so good to hear some of us Irish are pulling in harvests of decent amounts.

Which of the strains you grew this year performed the best?

the canadian forum has been a great help, hoping to give some canadian strains ago next year

Yeah well Canadain strain well there are the few that have stood the test of time I guess .. Still when you go into the clubs the top sellers are Purple Kush and Green Crack but even those cuts are getting old/weak/shitty whatever you want to call it. So back to the drawing boards lol..Elite clone only is just a word used to sell now not actually what the bud is. Kinda like trying to find Road Kill Skunk lol. I would have to also agree with DJ Short's on his accessment that it's not the greatest idea to bring certain strains out of their elements . For example bring Thai weed to Canada lol I mean you can grow it but it does much ,much better in Thailand LOL peace out Headband707:tiphat:

Cheers GM, it was a year of re-learning (indoor habits die hard) how to grow but a fun one with good results.
Next year can only be better

I hear that bro!!!! I was totally out this past year due to a few circumstances stopping me from getting my starts going. Next year we will re-learn together, hehehe

down the line im definitely going to grow out a load of church and gg v dp and find some keepers

Thats what I did with Esbens hash plant this year, grew out a bunch of them and ended up with 2 plants after my merciless selection process.

Pretty much anything that grew/sexed slowly or was finnicky looking got the chop, out of the 12 females only 2 made it into the ground and were cloned.

I'm kicking myself that I didn't reveg the male that made the cut, now I have to go through the same thing next year to find a daddy :( assuming I can find some seed.

If anybody knows where I can pick up some more hfh hash plant seeds drop me a pm.

No listings on seed bay and zen seeds have not replied to the 3 mails I sent them....

woke up this morning thinking it had snowed, heavy frost covered everything, definitely pulled everything just in time, wondering how all the drying stuff will do though :hide:

My van was frozen solid at 7:30 last night, had to do all the windows with de-icer :(

I'm praying for a hard winter, seems like when we get ones like last year the following growing season seems to have less pests and bud rot seems to be less prevalent.

Can you not shift the stuff drying outside into a shed or somewhere to avoid the frosts?

I coccurr. I tried them myself one time. Not good enough when the buds are still very wet. Dries it too fast if used for curing. All around I had bad luck, so I would advise against them.

i used fresh stuff and put it in a box with salt, dried over 2 weeks i think, harsh smoke and low taste

visited the outdoor dry stuff , no mold so all is well , some of it is well over a week now

Any chance of a more detailed explanation of how you do it Tonto?
Is there even a tarp over them or are they uncovered?
Fan leaves left on?

Interesting stuff I'm going to have to give it a lash next year :thank you:
