2008, a time for a change, but who will it be, who do we all vote for?!?!

Thanks for the RP links. One of the things that I like about this guy is that if you want to know where he stands on an issue, then you can just google his name with the issue keyword and likely return an article authored by him or a speech given by him or a video. I like that he's clear on where the stands. He doesn't play around and dance around issues like the Rudy McRomney candidates.

Where the hell do they find THOSE guys anyway?

There are far too many people who have been led to believe that they are wasting their vote if they vote for someone the media says"doesn't stand a chance". I believe that we all have been wasting our vote anyway on the people that we have elected the last 20 years. It is now time to vote for people who most closely resemble our own beliefs, whether they " stand a chance" or not.

If enough of us express our wishes rather than vote for those who stand a better chance of getting elected, we might be able to change this country. As a former republican turned libertarian, I will vote for Ron Paul and I don't care if he has a chance or not. He has my vote! I just hope he gets more press time than Harry Browne did.

I'M WITH YA ON THAT POPS, VOTE FOR FREEDOM RON PAUL

I will say I have always had the doom and gloom mentality and throw in the towel attitude when it came to politicians and the choice 2 parties. None represented an inkling of what I felt or anyone I know. So I havent been alone on the let it all go down the tubes attitude. In reality do I want that,no we are already living that and I don't like it much.

Here is the kicker though...many here on this board and else where need to forget the political tags and labels but at the same time register if you haven't already to vote in the Republican primary.

This is to ensure if you are going Ron Paul that he will be a delegate. If he doesn't become a delegate then yes we have no chance but its up to all of us that crave some sense of freedom on so many levels.

I voted once in my whole life and that was for who? Ron Paul on his first run in the 14th district in Texas. I moved and have recently came back and its funny here I'm again casting a vote for the same man, weird in a way because the first time I just wanted to experience the voting process. Who would have knew he would continue being a standup dude?

Only losers will say we don't have a chance. Only those programmed will say it cant be done, it can if we can get off our collective asses for the Republican primary and go Ron Paul. Not sure if this can be done online to register to vote in this Republican primary if you haven't do so.

Hell its fun watching these corpo assholes getting schooled and getting a taste of a little truth medicine so lets keep RON Paul in the game.

I'll be sending my paperwork off tomorrow to change my voter's registration from (I) to either R or D, so that I can vote in the primaries.

Now I just have to decide who has a better shot at getting their parties nomination, Ron Paul or Richardson.

You don't have to reregister as a D or R. You have a right to vote, and as long as you are registered to vote in your state, it's doesn;t matter which affiliation you have. Just because you are an I, doesn;t mean you have no right to vote in primary.

There's no way I am voting for Goulianni. He should have been in his office fielding calls and overseeing the emergancy, or running up flights of stairs in the towers recueing people on 9/11 instead of at a coffee shop watching the events unfold. I will never for the scene of Goulianni running from a cloud of dust. Just bad taste. It's like me standing around watching his house burn down and doing nothing to help.

My primary vote is going for Richardson. I don't like his views, as they flip flop more than clothes in a dryer, but I like the fact he signed the NM bill legalizing medical marijuana.

Have a great day!

I'm glad that you'll be voting in your state's primaries!
:woohoo: I wish ours was an open primary. In our state, we have a closed primary and you must be registered with that party to vote in it's primaries.

I remember thinking "revelation" or something along those lines about another guy, smart, one to make a change finally, I think his name was Perot.

And honestly, I do not understand why no one likes Nader. He was in the forefront of trying to change the government "system" since the 1960's demonstrations.

Petro had it going but political assanaition happened, meaning dirty laundry got him out of the races. He didn’t want his daughter or daughters exposed for some slight things cant remember now all the details but that’s the jest of it. He didn’t want to put them thru that so he removed himself after that huge grassroots effort. Petro smart business dude but a constitutionalist no, he was anti-gun and some other anti-freedom stuff. He made a big hit though some vets for trying to bring the POW's or recover their remains back from Viet Nam.

Same for Nadder a constitutionalist nope ....so those to examples aren’t even close to what Ron Paul is about. Nader would have made the govt. bigger in my opinion he believed centralized government to solve problems. Not to mention the 3rd party issue, this is where Ron Paul is a step ahead in a sense the negative is the Republican party itself but his voting record stands out from that association.

Will Ron Paul remove himself like Petro and Nader who had huge grassroots following ? I doubt it I don’t get the lesser of 2 evils feeling from Ron Paul. Nader removed himself and helped Bush not that Gore would have been any better them being from the same camps behind the shadows.

Ron Paul is going to be on The Daily Show on comedy central in about 30 minutes, just in case anyone who's interested sees this post in time...

I'm sure it'll wind up on Youtube if you miss it.

Rupert Mudoch silencing Ron Paul supporters on MySpace?

Its funny the media which is apart of the entertainment industry often refers to Ron Paul as entertainment; oh he is such a silly guy mooahaha.

Now last I remember didn’t the media rely on viewer ratings?

Why does Mudoch the media mogul silence the guy then?

Is it because we'll have real Public media with a free and open market place instead of a govt. controlled media monopoly if Ron Paul were to be elected? hmmm i dunno

Naw the media are really just good ol' boys that never mean no harm, they truly care and tell the truth they would never political assassinate a presidential candidate simply by censorship, never lol

That's insane! Boy they're sure scared of this guy aren't they?

Thanks so much for posting the primary information. It would be so great to see such a landslide in the primaries that the electorate will have no choice but to recognize the will of the people!

I sure hope that his supporters are serious enough to make it to the primaries and vote! :woohoo:
