Just when I thought I'd seen and done it all!!!

So I'm spending my X-mas day building my temporary grow room complete with 150W hps ...my new cab is on hold I decided...but that's another story...anyways...I'm so close to being finished...all is set and ready to go accept the DIY carbon scrubber. I was just getting started on it and realized...DOH!!!! I'm fresh out of Nylons...(well of course I don't have any ....I'm single and straight) ... I figure...well I need milk so off to the corner store I go thinkin nylons would be right beside the condoms and tampons....3 stores and 3 REALLY STRANGE LOOKS later I'm back at my house rollin a blunt wishing I hadn't left the house...I have Beer....too funny...out on x-mas day trying to hunt down nylons....yes I had to chuckle.
I think I'll stock up tomorrow with about 10 pairs so it'll be a long time before I have to go through that again...sheesh.....
Have a little chuckle at my expense folks...peace

Should we do a progression sequence? I have her progression logged...
I dont know why she is such a winner, probably because she is 118 days old and makes up for it with every gram. She is grown in a five gallon pot with:
1/3 perlite, 1/3 Black Gold Organic Worm Castings, 1/3 Black Gold Organic Soil.
I water every day, and feed every other day with Pure Blend Pro.
She is the last of her strain in existance. The CW20 strain my friend created on his 20th birthday. It is a cross of very old plants to exist in Hawaii.
Ducksfoot x (G-13 x Molokai) The Molokai was brought over from the Island of Molokai where is old Hawaiian uncle grew this strain's ancestors for thirty years. He also crossed it with an alleged cutting of G-13 gifted to him by a University of Hawaii professor over 20-30 years back. Then 6 years ago my young friend crossed it with Ducksfoot, hence the three pheonos During my last grow!
This strain is something else and the only one left, besides a sickly mother and clone. I am thinking of killing this strain to make room for the OB1, but also because it takes a ridiculously long time to flower. I mean shit man it will be 5 months beofre shes ready, and Six months total from seed! Half a fucking year to grow a single ganja plant that is greedy and takes up the MIDDLE 65% of the cabinet, rendering the other 35% useless! Well the cool thing is she looks really cool and its an impressive plant isnt it?
In the end I think its really all beginers luck!

Bulénath Truely an inspiration my friend!!! Way to long of a flower time for my liking but well worth the reward I'm sure. It's going to be hard for you to kill a strain so old I bet...brings tears to my eyes just thinking of it. Let me suggest taking it to the side of a mountain somewhere and plant it like the scene from Karate Kid. Don't kill it when you can set it free. Impregnate it and set it free on a mountain side so it can seed the earth!
I'm out for a few days to see my lovely Mom and the building of my new grow space is on hold till I get back. Good news is I have the 150W Tent built and clones rooted in soil waiting for my return in a few days. Can't wait to get back and finish it up for the new year.

6 months IS an awfully long time ... but look at her ! is it all bud with almost no leaves left ? thats the way it looks from here . just awesome !

i have been vegging under flourescents using a 16/8 day/night cycle. perhaps this lighting regime isn't the best because all 5 of the plants in there are showing sex ( well before i had expected them to), and they are all female . normally, this could be considered excellent news, however ... 1 of them is in a tiny 3" pot, 1 is in a 4", 2 are in 5" and 1 is in a 6" pot . i read somewhere that mj plants have little, if any, root growth after flowering has started so, if that is true, transplanting to larger pots may have very little effect. what should i do next in order to maximize production from these gals ?

Your vegging with an odd schedule! You sure thats not a typo for 18/6?
If you are vegging with 16/8, your plants may be thinking its time to flower...(?)
As far as ganja having little root growth after flower has started thats totaly false! As soon as the plants are forced into flower by changing the light regime to 12/12, they start to strech incredibly for the next 2-4 weeks. The root mass must strech aswell to support the explosion of foliage. Infact, your window to a fat yeild depends on providing the root space to support this strech! When I put my plants into flower, they simultaneously get upgraded into thier finishing pots! For the stativa above, she went from a 4" black square pot, straight to five gallons of soil. You must provide the roots with enough space! Might I reccomend 2 gallong pots, like many use. Five gallons is for extreme cases like the six month stativa. One gallon pots I am currently experimenting with, im sure they will work just fine. But for our small 150 grows with normal 60-90 day flowering strains, 2 gallons seems to be the most popular to flower/harvest in.
On that same note, since the first 2-4 weeks of flower (mostly the first 2 weeks) is when plants strech the most, I suggest using your Growth Formula for the first two weeks of flower. The Nitrogen in Growth ferts is neccessary to support this huge strech. After that, you can tapper into the Bloom ferts with less N and more P & K.
As for what to do now,
How old are your babies again? If they are are still relatively young, then I would suggest switching to 18/6 or 24/0. Though since they are showing sex, I am guessing they are at adolescence, and probably over 2 weeks old? Since they are showing female sex only, it seems a good sign that the 16/8 regime didnt stress them into growing bananas. Perhaps they are of perfect age to just switch into flowering. But that depends on what you say about thier age...

Oh and Dimebag, I didnt top her at all! She is truley a free spirit, and her smoke will reflect this natural vibe of sweet freedom from one life form to the next. When the smoke is released fro her green goodness so will be released my mind into the hevanly state of permanence and bliss.

6 plant bubbler tub with over 3 feet of vertical growing space.
Over 50 watts/ft2, but do I need to worry about the light not penetrating the canopy?

Hey Friends, Back in town from my road trip. Good times. I'm finishing up my new room today and will be back with pics later on. Thought I'd drop in and see how's y'all doin.

Custom cabinet questions....huh....have a look at my gallery and you'll see an overbuilt, over designed exercise in how to build a cabinet before knowing about ICMag or OverGrow. I now firmly believe in the buy a predesigned cabinet from Mills Pride or something like that and equip with appropriate light and scrubber for the size of the space. Good luck and welcome to the club...I'm still a newbie here so this is just my 2 cents after all....you'll get great help from the folks around here...just watch them pop up to help ya man!

And now my suprise ... I'm hoping someone will know about this strain. Look what I got for x-mas.
All I know is it's a SuperSkunk x Kush ... no idea who the breeder was and I can't find a Kush x SuperSkunk in my feeble attempt to search it out. I know it's an outdoor strain but my friend just harvested under a 1000W and it's pretty good. Stinks like crazy though...holy..I brought back about a 1/4 oz in 4 ziplock sealed backs in a duffle bag in the back of my car and had to chain smoke the whole way home. Everytime I put out a smoke all I could smell was skunk coming from the back of my car....with the fear of Holiday season ride checks I preferred the smell of tobacco over skunk wafting out my window...crazy stuff...I'll have to double carbon scrub when I flower this strain. So...here's a few pics ... pipe up and give me some history if ya can folks. The white dots on them are from some "Damp Off" ...My friend had a moist room problem last week.
And good news on my original Cali O strain ...my good friend ...bless his soul has kept a plant going for a year now. Funny thing is he hasn't sexed it ...just mowed the lawn ... so now it's a 2.5 foot bush. So... either the original Cali O or we'll cross it with something new if it ends up being Male ... LUI x Cali O or maybe Cali O x with SSxK ...who knows...bless his soul for keeping it going though....Peace everyone and Happy New year .. My 430W Cab just switched to 12/12 this morning....gonna be a great year!!!
