Wow... so I made a startling discovery recently. My seedlings were very dry looking, as was the soil. I know the whole "overwatering is the most common newbie mistake" but I know they needed some water. I moved the thermometer gauge to the level of the plants, instead of a few inches above the lights, and it was about 10 degrees higher than I previously thought. That means they've been in 85-95 degrees for the past few days, and it probably went over 100 for a little bit. Dammit... anyways, I checked on them a few hours ago and one of them was fallen right over. They weren't stretching because the lights were litlerally about a half inch from the tops of the cups, so they must've just dried out. I also may have planted the seeds a little too shallow.
I made a little crutch out of some extra wire I had laying around, I planted it deep in the soil and curled the end around and rested the seedling in it. Hopefully it recovers, it was bent over pretty bad. This is the one that had the white spot on it.
In this picture, you can see where the temperature gauge was on the back wall, where the little bit of foil tape is. I put it right in the tub with the plants now, and it's showing about 10 degrees higher than previously. Guh...
