Well last grow had no odor control because I was so burned out on wasting cash over relentless ideas. Im sure you all go through the same...
But this time more cash was invested into building a custom:
Pananonic whisper fan Carbon Scrubber.
The 80CFM fan is constructed perfectly to be mounted to a flat surface, with pre-drilled holes and a flat construction. I made a little wooden frame and attached it to the Fan. Then I used some "L" brackets to suspend a chicken wire frame about an inch above the actual fan intake. This is to increase the surface area, thus efficiency and reducing noise.
Next I went to Home De Pot and got some carbon filter replacements. This made a good sheet to cover the chicken wire with! I cut it perfectly so not a single carbon grain can fall into my precious Panasonic fan and kill her ($110).
Then to a fish store, where a friend hooked me up with 5Lbs of activated carbon for $10!
With about 2-1/4 inches of activated carbon pellets, I hope the smell will go away this time!!!!
