still looking good man, you must be a natural if this is your 1st grow
harvest time depends on personal taste the more amber trichs the more couchlock the stone but since you are growing pure indica you wont need to let them go to 80% to get that knock you on your ass stone and for the lower buds you could probably take a tester at 35-45 days to get a feel for your meds but 25 days is too soon to give a true representation of the strains potency.

mtlgrwr: good to see you're still keeping an eye on me. the super ice is 90% indica, but the chrystal is a 60/40 hybrid. i would definitely prefer to keep them on the cerebral side, at least the chrystal, so thanks for keeping me on the right track, and for the compliment. i can't tell you how much i hope i am a natural. this is all i want to do with my life.

Yeah I would like to know how your butter turns out, I also want some updates on that CO2 bucket you got, I have heard mix reviews about it. Seems to be a cheaper remedy than a big getup. And in my motto of KISS and DIY, cheaper is always better. (as long as results are comparable).

its only been a few days with the co2, but i think it is safe to say it is helping. i guess i won't have any way of objective comparison since this is my first grow, but the plants look and feel more vigorous... the buds have noticably filled out since its been on. maybe i'm fooling myself, but it sure seems like they've taken off.
at any rate, i think since its such a small space it can only help. though i don't believe it would be worth much in anything other than a closet, its a cheap and super-friggin easy alternative to tanks and gauges. we'll keep an eye on it fo sho.
p.s. glad to see my humor isn't always just for my own benefit

hey guys, just need some help with something. the buds are looking great, but i've got some fan leaves starting to yellow and die off.
at first i didn't think this was anything to be worried about, as i read that will happen in bloom, but a grower/friend of mine stopped over and said that it usually doesn't happen until week five or six, and since i'm just over week three it might be a nitrogen or magnesium deficiency. check it out:
and here's the tops of the same plants. looking pretty good, as far as i can tell... ?
i was wondering if it is from the transplant shock, since they were a week and a half into bloom when i transplanted.
also i was wondering if i am overwatering them. or over-feeding them. the powder nutes i'm using don't mix worth a shit, even though i bought one of those "wand" mixers that i use right in the water pitcher. it is probably burning the last few plants to get watered...
for right now i eased off on the bloom nutes, bringing the ppm down about five hundred just to be safe, and put a little of the veg fert in to bring up the nitrogen. a VERY little. i'm not trying to screw up the progress and good luck i've had so far.
anyway, any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated! hope all is well.

hey,
its looks like N deficiency but don't sweat it this often happens in flowering and won't damage your harvest. indica dominant strains require a little N for the first 1-2 weeks flowering cycle.Add some 1/4 strength veg nutes if you are worried or even better some worm castings if you have any (good organic source of N and MG) and the problem will be solved by next week but you probably don't really need to.

and for those of you that were around from the LST posts, check out this girl. a little over one week of bloom, just starting to cherry:
and here's the final plant left from seed, the only one still in veg. Chrystal. too bad i didn't have enough room to veg all of them to this size. with the LST she is a little monster, showing preflowers like crazy. 6 weeks along.

how do you like LST? i think it has to be the perfect indoor strategy... even the canopy every cola gets nice light.... she does like like a little monster.
you still got a month or so to go on chrystal and superice? they are looking amazing... i am excited to see what these flo's do to those beautiful girls...
