My lung room is 35% but my pulse one is showing 50%RH

Why is the tent so much higher then the ambient RH of the room?

77f
50rh
VPD 1.3-1.5

VPD is on point but not sure why it’s reading so low. Any tips/tricks?

Dehuey is running on max and heating the room up a bit. Closed the register in that room bc while it brings down temp but increases RH

Because the tent is where the plants are. It is going to be highest near where the plants are transpiring.

I assumed as much but how would you go about bringing down the RH? Or would you say it’s all good bc ambient RH is so low? I have plenty of fans moving air (3 to be exact)

Btw, I love phish and have been to 100+ shows over the past 25yrs

UPDATE:

Stuck a small floor fan near tent, pointed towards one of the mesh windows at the bottom…the added air movement dropped the tent 5%RH and dropped the temp 3f

Running about 74f and 49%RH

I’m starting to get really excited. My first rip in a decade

Glad to be back and look forward to popping a lot of different beans in the future

::hug:::

I’ve got 9 plants…hoping to get around 7-9ozs when all is said and done. Prolly gonna have to take em all around the same time which is gonna be tricky

These are 3gallon plants that were topped and cleaned up aggresivley so while the nug I do have is nice jar nug, yield will be in the light side unless they really swell these last two weeks

Week 8 Update
Daytime
RH - 47%
Temp - 75f
VPD - 1.45

Night
RH - 47.6%
Temp - 73f
VPD - 1.38

Things are starting to fade well and naturally color up...I have three that I am watching close but one cultivar in particular is almost fox-tailing and throwing new pistils. I am going to have to chop all at the same time so there will be a multitude of heavy couch-lock stones and more sativa.

fugazi funk that is foxtailing a bit

IMG_4631.JPG

Watermelon Milkshare (has been purple since week 5 and my favorite cultivar to watch grow)

IMG_4628.JPG

IMG_4620.JPG

Laser Wolf (more gassy and chem/diesel thing going on)

IMG_4625.JPG

Cuban Affair (with flash on)

Fugazi Funk (w/ flash)

Some have a better nose than others...quick peak through microscope and im not seeing any amber...mostly clear to be honest...I'll update at week 9 and then of course at harvest..

Anyone have feedback? Questions? Sometimes I feel like i'm talking to myself...does anyone have question about Ziplock Seeds?

The plan for now is to germinate some beans in early October and thinking I'm gonna run some CSI Humboldt/Notso Dog collabs as well a few random Tony Greenhand....Bubblehead, Gorilla Bubble and potentially Mango Drips

Those are some gorgeous buds! Happy harvest coming your way!
The Watermelon and Cuban Affair both look amazingly dense.
How is the nose on the Watermelon?

Also, just want to say that Nspecta and CSI do amazing work. Their beans are top notch and great people, I think you’ll be pleased with most offerings from them.

Thanks. I’m a big fan of both Archive and CSI Humboldt. That group of growers inspire me and the TK x Headband I received from CSI was gassy, sour goodness

The nose on the watermelon is sweet, candy…artificial sweet tart nose…but I’ve grown so many plants that tasted nothing like the nose

While BOG was a legend and all over the forums the past 20yr, I never had a chance to grow BOG bubble or Lifesaver etc. which leads me to be excited to try some Sour Bubble through what Tony has one over the last decade.

Late to the party, but these look awesome. I haven't heard of the breeder who did these, but I'm sorry about your hermie problems. Let's hope it isn't a common theme amongst the other seeds you have from them. Your buds are looking ridiculously frosty. I'm jealous. You're a little over a week ahead of my grow, so maybe mine will catch up in that regard. I doubt it though.
Keep it up, and I'll be watching from here on.

I just looked through your thread. Everything this is looking pretty damn good.

I’m gonna take my all of the down pretty soon and unfortunately don’t have the space to take them down individually. Some are gonna be a bit early and some will be a touch late but hopefully I have the majority of the trichs about right

Ziplock Seeds seems to be serving me right, not concerned about the week three herms as I feel I was on top of it

Ziplock has a TON of lines and is always dropping new exotics

I’m glad I gave them a shot but I’m gonna get back to my roots and spend time on sours and kush’s. Following my nose

Everything in the tent is fruity and different but only the Cuban affair and laser wolf have any hint of gas/fuel

Honestly, I'm just jealous you've been able to get enough experience to know those kinds of preferences. Where I come from, most folks have never gotten the whole cornucopia of aromas and effects as most ICMAGers seem to.

I was on overgrow in the early 2000s but only DREAMED of growing back then. It wasn’t until ICMAG days in the early 2010s where I decided to give it a go.

My life changed after popping those first seeds…my first run was TGA genetics and then started doing a bit of trading here and there and also keep in mind this is when sour diesel blew up in the forums

I was popping Tahoe OG, SFV, Alien OG, etc you name it

My favorite was a sfv x chem91. Wow those were some incredible flowers…

Either way, let’s support each other and see how far we can get

I'm down, man. Very much so. I remember back then when Sour Diesel became a name. I even got some nugs of it but again, where I come from, it was more likely just whatever random crap people could get their hands on and then claim it was X or Y strain to bump up the price. Alas, even if it was legitimate it's been so long that I couldn't tell you what it really smelled or tasted like.
Don't get me wrong. I've gotten some fire nuggy-boys in my time, but as far as reliably identifying any of it or even getting actual diversity of potency, aroma, flavors and effects. . . Forget about it. What's more, the idea of getting an actual Sativa is a pipe dream here. It's not profitable enough to distribute something that takes ~50% more time and materials to produce. I'm excited to nail down the strains I'm working with currently so I can branch into Sativas (pun intended). Finally getting to feel the difference for myself will be well worth the effort and wait. Not sure if I mentioned, but I'm planning to go after Ace's Malawi like I always dreamed of when I was younger.

Week 9 Update
Day:
Avg Temp: 75.4f
Avg RH: 50.8%
Avg VPD: 1.40

Night:
Avg Temp: 72.4f
Avg RH: 49%
Avg VPD: 1.31

Getting closer each day, started checking trichs and there are very few cloudy...mostly still all clear. I am not sure how long these will go but its looking like potentially another week. Not in my wildest dreams did I think some of these cultivars would go 70 days. A few of them "looked" done for two weeks now but the trichs tell a different story.

While I dont know how drying/curing and smoking is going to go...for my first run in 10yrs...I'm giving myself a 7/10. I can think of a few things that will improve next round...mostly the soil has been sitting in a garbage can for 5 months now...it should be perfect for the next round.
