Beauty lady,Baduy!
if you want an advice, wait 5-6 months of care, and zam will be spectacular, both as an effect and as an aroma ...
I have found that the most Malawi phenotype is more lysergic and pheraps narcotic( sativa narcotic)while the zamal-thai phenotype is more trippy, psichedelic, more than haze....

:tiphat: niiiiiiiice Baduy!

Potency wise sounds equally killer in any case :D

How much had it cured when you tried it?

That's a topped cut?

Yes this one is a very zamalish pheno which turns from straight green mango smell to something more complex after a long cure.
Also goes very soft on the lungs, never makes me cough. I suspect a fair level of THCV as it has this deceptive delay before the high kicks in during which one who's not used to it can easily toke too much and end up higher than expected. It's like a cold electric haze I'd say, the typical African buzz that keeps you standing up no matter how spaced out you can be

Hi repuk. The original plant from seed was harvested in November outdoor so I am now enjoying some 6 month cured buds of this girl:abduct:. That's a top cut indeed but it's so branchy that it's useless trying to train it to a main cola, she just wants to grow like an octopus.
I Have a few crosses in mind using this one :)

My zam-thai pheno had an aroma that I think is mango (I do not know what flavor the mango has ;) ) and with time this aroma has turned into a pleasant and penetrating taste of pepper....

:yummy: So it should pack all that potency... how long have you been smoking? trying to gauge my (heavy) tolerance vs Zam...

Loving my Zam too. So unique... I also discovered topping and training to be of little use. I think as a sophisticated and wild lady, you'd better go along with her and direct her smoothly than being drastic.

Loving how mine is filling up her loong internodal spaces on her three "tentacles", on these latest 10 days she has been the one with most progress, rest are in swelling up stage.

Making crosses is on my todo list too, definitely Zam is so unique it invites to make them!

Very nice pics Twoey :tiphat:

I really like how your Zamaldelica female is evolving in her second half of flowering, she seems to have enjoyed a lot your latest feedings, i think you still can feed her a bit more .... love the vitality she is showing with such furious styled Malawi ovaries and trichomes combined with the longer and more delicate pistils.

Thank you Dubi, I loved her look from start to finish, I gave her a last feeding soon after I posted those photos e she responded very well, on the other hand I wanted to keep her on a diet so I was pretty cautious with nutes because I don't have a lot of experience with them for I usually grow organically.

Unfortunately I had to move her in another spot cause I had to host relatives that lived in my house with me for a bit. So she was moved in a somewhat damp place and she lost one of the twin lateral buds due to a little spot of budrot but for the rest she was very healty and finished the run without problems.

Here are two photos of her on chop day ... today at 13th weeks.

Finally has a chance to try out the harvest and over the weekend with some friends.

What a plant! When starting to grow weed, it was in part to see if it was all the same, definitely not haha.

I really get the "no ceiling" feeling now, the others were in the dark to as what it was, but the good times were there. Lots of laughing and energy.
Got some nice words about it too.

The smoke is smooth too. After a month of cure, it smells like fruity punch, smoking it has a kind of cool herb feeling like mint would give.
Also smells a bit of hay, but the cure was a little rough.

Also may have killed the root stock/stump... really wanted to reveg it, had plans for it, but thats cost of negligence.
Photos are from harvest day and after a week of drying.

Lovely seeing all the posts in here, gonna keep going with zamaldelica.

Hi green johny,

Beautiful Zamaldelica seedlings :) they look indeed almost identical.
It's still too early to identify the phenos but looks zamal/thai so far.
We will see when they are more developed. Please, keep us updated!

Hello all. My zam keeper clone day 110 of flowering on the catwalk before I take her down. No training of any kind whatsoever and minimal feedings.
Not as unbelievably potent as some reports make think of this plant (I've grown a few other ones which were stronger but the high was not as clean as this individual) but a great electric high of long duration without body load or hangover.

Excellent Twoey :dance013: Congrats on your Zamaldelica harvest!
I really like the resinous pheno you have recently harvested, flowers are foxtailed but tight, and with great flower/leaf ratio. Bet is going to be really potent after a proper cure.

How were the aromas at harvest time ? Wish you enjoy her! :tiphat:

Nice repuk :)

How is your Zamaldelica doing since your last update ?
Curious to see more flowering traits.

Hello! Had some issues (PC broke). This pic is from last week (7th so mid flower), she's getting hairier each day, filling diligently all internodes:

Wow nup, you did let her get well ripen! :bigeye: :yummy:

Thank you Dubi, It's been a pleasure to grow, and to smoke :tiphat:
Well the aromas are subtle I find them hard to explain, during the last weeks of flowering they reminds me of some sort of overripe fruit with something vegetable and a little of woody aromas on the background. I think this is the part that you refer to as mango-carrot, but as the cure progress she became more earthy-spicy-woody (not incensey at all) and it reminds me of old wood with a touch of dry fruitiness on the background. She is also quite smooth to smoke. Regarding her potency, I couldn't be more happy, maybe it is too trippy for regular use and me and my friends agree that it's definitely not for indoor/becoming-a-couch-potato kind of use, you feel the urge to go out and see things or do something interesting or creative. She doesn't give me a lot of munchies, and being me overweight, I like this trait
smile.gif
.
It's not good to drive, even if you became overcautious and drive like someone into its eighties
biggrin.gif
you won't be feeling comfortable to do so.
With the cure the onset of the high became more "gentle", but she retain all her profound effects and duration.

Makes all the difference, great community you have grown.

Repuk- yeah! I had to leave so it was gonna 11 or 12 weeks, maybe 11 would have been better.
