All sorts of accidents :),if you don't take into account a foot per day growth (no pistils involved)
A plant needs time.Time to grow, time to heal
Thank you O.

Good Lord!!! My zamies are overwhelmingly slow. I have one that was crimped and the cola is 18 inches long. She is a monster. Accidently broke off a nugget and let it dry and smoked it. I was fucking lost.

I used to post pics but cannot figure it out now. I have 15 Zamies in the flower room and 5 more started in the veg cab. I want to be sure to stay fucked up. I think the end of my life is coming.

Chopping tomorrow. I can see why Zamal tends to be an uppy high rather than narcotic like the pure Malawi lines from ace. The trichomes in the zamaldelica stay clear to cloudy for a very long time. Some other typical popular hybrids, like cheese, tend to "ripen up" and get really amber, very quickly. Sometimes even straight from clear to amber with very little time of cloudy. Zamal trichomes stay cloudy for weeks without degrading. Maybe even a month of cloudy trichs before they finally die off. This allows you many mature cloudy trichs at once without many decayed, amber, or broken-off ones. I feel this Z pheno has a long chance to "marinade" its cannabinoid content before dying off. Perhaps lending to a better high. We will soon find out.

The Zams are moving slowly and definitely require a real veg period. These were flowered two weeks ago after only about four weeks veg. I was hoping for a little stretch, but I topped them just before flowering and that slowed them down. They will still yield enough to determine keepers, but they def do not stretch like the Panamals and super malawi's I am also running.

They are also setting flowers rapidly- bud sites are all set with almost no stretch at week 2.
They don't like a lot of nutrients without slowing them down. Less is more with these little girls. Three of the 8 are more vigorous and eat well, the other 5 are softer, "fluffier" and more fussy. These strike me as a better organic soil strain. We'll see. Cheers!

Looking very good! I like lots of plants. I always have a minimum of 20 and up to 30 at times. I have a few Zamies that have been in the flower room for 16 weeks and they are still throwing white pistils. Patience is a virtue with these girls. The reward is well worth it if you like getting lost.

My sad Zam clone is a little happier

My sad Zam clone is a little happier

Hello,
I move the clone to a 3 gallon pot, reduce the light a little, and put it in original roots organic soil with less than 2 inches of hot soil at the bottom. I put the red 16oz. Cup in the photo just for perspective. I’m just trying to fatten it up so there’s a few good potential branches to get strong clones from. Once they take I’m very curious how they are going to react to colloidal silver.

I’m making the silver pretty strong around 100 ppm with a drop of Castile soap per 500ml as a wetting agent. I’ve yet to have a female plant not make pollen with it, but I’ve only used it on five different strains, Congo, S.A. Kwazulu, Durban, Sour Tangie and Dr. Grinspoon. Again, I don’t claim to know what I’m doing, I’m just playin’ around.

The mother of this Zamaldelica clone is at about 9-10 weeks of flowering and it has the hugest buds I’ve ever grown. I can’t imagine what it’s going to look like in another 2-3 weeks.

Any thought, concerns or questions are always helpful. Thank you all and especially Dubi.

Peace,
Roy

Dubi, do you know when zamaldelica fem and standard (I know a few packs are still available of the reg version) will be made available again?

I'd like to grow it next year if possible!

If you're in a hurry, The Vault has 3-seed packs of feminized in stock.

Yeah, I used Kind soil for one grow and experienced nutrient issues by the end of it. After that, I mixed my own soil, recycled all of my Kind soil into it, and I've been using that soil for several cycles without issues. I'd give anyone looking to use their soil a word of caution and instead recommend that they look into mixing their own soil.
That is a good idea and my ultimate goal. Thanks.
