Anyone know wut the side of the cross the strong pine smell comes from? They both have a really strong pine needle smell, like broken fresh pine needles, the big one has a keroseen gassy undertone n the christmas tree one has a sweet carroty undertone...

Lovely looking rosin. The Zamal pheno in veg had an amazing pine / skunk dankness. I have cloned several and gifted them out, only then realizing how strong smelling the plant gets. Pure Macka!!! Strong!
The GT Tends to have more woody notes presenting in the nose. From my memories growing her for a couple years.
Enjoy your harvest

The Zamaldelica cut that I have is the only plant that I've extracted rosin from and the rosin was not stronger than the buds. The buds hit as hard as pure oil. Must be the Malawi granny in Zamaldelica showing its teeth, but the potency of this cut can be humiliating when smoked by someone without tolerance.
I'd even say the buds hit harder, more rushy than the pure oil, the oil had softer stonier effect, but I must confess my rosin was quite darker in color, and so deteriorated and inferior, than GET MO's. It looked more like the rosin drop on his first photo.

Thanks yall
Yos33, i just smoked a lil bit of the flower and it is way more awake n alert then the rosin i smoked of the same kind. Wonder why that is?

The tall pheno got a peppery cinnamon pine smell, and is now starting to pick up some sweeter, mango notes. Smaller one is gaining an anise kinda smell to it along with previous description. Really crystally stuff!

My guess is the rosin doesn't take out all the goodies that you get when you smoke the whole plant.
In the same way resin heads are a different effect than the buds you make them from.
You have the whole plants effects like chewing cob is different than chewing hash.
I love chewing a Zam cob its total mayhem I get right out of control and cant remember a thing the next day ha ha.
Nice plants man your going to get some hell fire strong highs from that lot better wear a gum shield I have to on Zam ha ha.
Its like riding a wild pony bare back ha ha.

This one seems to still have some time to go, way fluffier, a wild beast of a plant. Smells so damn good!

And the more uniform christmas tree pheno. More sweet with a slight hint of carrot still, anise and strong pine smell, the other one was peppery spicey smell to it too i forgot to mention and this one doesnt have that, just more sweet but less fruity. Hard to describe. Think its closer, nugs hardening up...

Ya I would definitely cut earlier one... other one is kinda your call...I’m willing to bet it can go few days or a week past Tuesday but if it’s wet and miserable it won’t “ripen happily” anyways so I dunno.
There was plenty of cloudy trichs last pic.. I would say you’ve done a fine job bringing them to maturity.

Super excited to hear how these smoke!

Now its sayin rain and snow from tuesday thru friday, so looks like they comin down. If it were just a day or 2 of rain they could take it no prob but 4 days straight and snow too? Nah. Its been a good run n they look bout done anyway.

Sounds like a good idea. I have a small one indoors that needs a couple more weeks. Trichs are getting cloudy and she finally is putting out a little bit of floral and ripe melon scents.

Hi all! Update on my 3 Zamaldelica's. 2 from regs are girls, and the one from a S1 seed too. So no males to play with and make seeds.

Looking good so far. Aroma on the 2 regs is specially weird. I haven't felt it on other Zamals I've grown.

The S1 is the one that looks more Indica leaning. The other two which phenos could be?

There is 0% Indica in Zamaldelica. Some have wider leaves and a more compact structure than “expected” for a Sativa but she’s definitely 100% pure sativa as stated by her breeder...
Looks good though! You’re gonna like it I bet
