Yes Tangwena it's a blessing.
But outdoors is my only option, so I have to keep it at 6 plants once a year, which is hard for a guy who loves variety. I dream of the day I can keep mothers from special plants or play with breeding in an indoor setup. Actually looking to remedy the one harvest per year by growing some autos for the winter set.
Please dont start growing outdoors, you'll make a lot of us look bad lol:biggrin::moon:
Do you have room for a small 10x10 GH or a small hoop GH? If so, you can easily do 2 crops per year. 6 plants in summer, cropped under nets can easily land you 3 or 4 years worth of bud even for a heavy smoker. In the greenhouse, you are flowering from fall to spring and it's indoors, out of sight.
Peace, God bless

Hot damn that’s a good un.... one of the ones that makes it real hard to know when to cut because it’s so damn frosty and I’m betting it puts its growth on in spurts from here out... big push.. ripens up.. does nothing. WHAM! another push of pistils... slows down ripen up etc...
If she just never stops and your happy with density Terps etc on a sample then just pick her right before another big push and she oughta be purt good... probably still won’t be there for couple weeks or so though I think.
Very nice resins forming:tiphat:
I’m playing in the gene pool that I used that Zam in... one of these days I’m going to put time into coaxing out more of her influence in a seed line. Above pictures were of her daughter with the father being a ZamxGuatemala male (F2 Zam dominant compact structure strong branching and explosive flowering response) if I recall my notes correctly.
The male (F2) was also father of current F3 ZamxGuatemala IBL seedstock.
I have a beautiful strawberry lime/mango female with great warm trippy effect from the IBL F3s that I’m going to cross to the z13bx line.
Heres the foxy foxtail girl from earlier as she dries

That is some killer bud my friend! Wow, I'm speechless at the quality of work you put out. You would really do the Honduran justice. I would love to see you grow her out, of course you will turn her into a harlot with your zamguatemala studs.:tiphat:
Edit: Is it me, or is that bud your holding flipping you off?
Peace, God bless

You just put that last bit on to rescue me from the deep depression I sunk into as I read the trying conditions you have to work ha ha.
Living the dream my friend.

In yo face! Lol then behind it.... tugging at yer smiles. I sent a pic to the wife and she thought it looked like a different appendage... I was like... “you better mean an ex”

I wanted to throw this little girl up here. She has some nice, full headed trichomes competing for space. Her smell is pretty strong, but faint floral and something "bland" or plain, that I can't yet identify, but will keep thinking. Her leaves look Zamal, flower structure along the stem.. not sure yet, flower, but more time will tell. Her flowers are much less developed than her sister, a Malawi leaner. Will post on her later.
Here is Zam 2

It wasn't easy holding the scope and taking pics. Sorry

Thanks for stopping by.

Yup. Zamal/Thai... or perhaps vice versa as it does not appear to have the extreme asymmetry of very Zamal leaners. Hope it hits your brain chemistry just right... you might be in for some top notch trip weed:biggrin::woohoo:

I bet it’s leather or noble wood in the back... maybe that weird melon musk kind of scent? Ooooh if someone else says they smell chocolate I’m gonna lose it! I keep smelling the most elusive faint hints of Mayan chocolate in very Thai/Zam phenos.. I honestly thought it was in my head.
Do tell! Go Nuffle your plant up until your wife and neighbors think your possessed by a drug squad Beagle! Lol then tell us the story.

Lmao...my wife already thinks im possessed by that drug squad beagle. She always says forget about the smell, what does it DO? But she doesn't get that enjoying all those awesome aromas is part of the pleasure of growing it and getting to know it. It's the foreplay before getting down to business if you know what I mean...

Lol ya I do! Every grower I’m sure must know what it’s like to have friends or family give them a weird look for being so happy about how a jar smells and so excited to share that jar smell.
I tried to talk up some really stinky BKXPCK to my wife the other day in an effort to help her appreciate the relaxant effect of the Terpenes (she works daycare and got elbowed in face that day)... she said “ I seriously don’t give a shit I just want a frickin joint”

Lol maybe I shoulda just rolled two and kept my mouth closed.

Nothing like an elbow in the chops on the second day of your new job, appreciate your daycare workers folks! They do battle to care for your kids and most of the $ you pay goes to administration... very rarely do workers get much pay.

I knew a posting in the Zam section would get you to show up:biggrin:. Thanks a lot my friend. That faint, little on the sweet side, could actually be melon or maybe the mango when she gets older. That bland smell leather. Yes, old school woods. Smells become clearer when you can organize them with each whiff, at least for me. We will have to see how she evolves.
You should see the reaction I get from my dog when I talk to my plants, especially when I'm giving them lovin, she really gets jealous. She's a smart dog and knows what I am saying.
Peace, God bless

Puhleeze cone back with a smoke report on that one!

GetMo and Solar: I think both of your phenotypes will possibly ripen very similarly to my previously pictured ZamxGuatemala.. they can take pretty long times to go through last stages but it’s so worth it when you can manage to wait. I also start extending dry cycles at the point GetMo has reached so that by the time I choose to harvest they have been in drought conditions (Not wilting but just short of it) for a couple days or a week.
Haha I just smoked some Auto Zamaldelica and it’s made me regret drying it right out for hash. Got me fried and talkative like good Zam always does... even has a solid touch of “the weird” that I likes

Hope everything is good in everybody’s gardens. I just cleaned some Crumbled Lime x (ZamxGuatemala z13bx ) seeds. Let’s see what cookies and OG do with some Zam dominant genetics :woohoo::peacock:

Hi people, i got a chocolate touch from the harvested Zamaldelica and at another Zamaldelica which I decided to chop her early.
Both have a different smell than the average Zamaldelicas. No floral smell more bland and earthy with a spicy background I thought, couse of the father (pic),

@Ras Pablo

those green pistils tho :greenstars:
beautiful.

edit: do we call them stigma now instead of pistils, if we're just talking about the hairs and not the ovaries? feels like old school vernacular is getting cleaned up and more inline with formal botany so we can science these bitches up?

Very cool! Thanks for posting this I really thought it was in my head. Maybe one of the Thai strains used had some distant relation to chocolate Thai populations... it always comes faintly in the background of Thai leaners for me.

Holy shit that’s a lot of sativa weeds! Party at GetMos yo! Lol looks awesome dude. Sweet one is probably a little more Zamaldelica elite dom (she has smaller nugs than I would expect from heavy Malawi influence.... she also has that horizontal branching) while tall is more Thai leaning I would think..

Hi all! Southern hemisphere here. New season. Growing 2 regular 2012/3 original Zamaldelica seeds and one S1 Zamaldelica from a 2017/8 plant (should be a girl).

My plan here was (still is) to make seeds. Looks like I got 1 girl out of one of the regs, and 1 male...which seems to be throwing some female preflowers. They're still small, I transplanted them 3 today to bigger containers.

I hope the male is a male, and not a hermie like most of that pack I bought back then. It happened too that a couple of female plants fron regs (those I grew 2017/8) threw some male preflowers, which I cut with scissors and the issue ended there.

The one in the smallest red container is the S1, the bigger in red the reg female. Green: male/hermie.

:tiphat:
