Zack's Patch 2016

I got about 10 minutes of heavy rain and some hail yesterday but nothing serious enough to do any damage. Just a little concerned about mold setting in if it doesn't warm up soon. It started sprinkling again during my lunch break...

Here's a lower citrus sap bud I chopped for the hell of it.
Few different angles

My girl and I planted carrots and broccoli in some extra smart pots I had laying around. We put only one type in each pot but there are different looking things sprouting up together lol we will see what happens

Harvest has begun!

Found a little botrytis in the top colas on citrus sap and kosher kush so I went ahead and chopped them off.
Going to keep a close eye on things but I'm planning on taking down most of everything next weekend. We will see how the weather goes

They still look like they have a few weeks.. Caution on the chopping..

For sure I'm trying to hold off as long as I can. I was forced to cut the tops I did because of mold

wow cool cuddlefish.. so close... i feel ya on not panic chopping early... hold on for as long as possible, even if the yard is stinking to high heaven :)

best of luck on safe and easy harvest

edit: those look like they are Caterpillar or stinkbug eggs if i had to guess.. and fyi trimming sour d sucks so let it get as big as possible, i say atleast ten days on both...

Plants are doing pretty good in all this rain. The cages are doing their jobs. Only found a little mold so far and the cold seems to be helping things dense up some

Don't over stress on mold issues. Handle the troubled area and keep a level head. A little damage is expected and not a reason to chop the whole plant. You've got very nice flowers.

Thanks for the advice! I think I might take the citrus sap this Saturday or Sunday and possibly the sour d next weekend. Or maybe wait a little longer if it needs it

nice looking cookies!!! i liked the forum gsc cut the most, the platinum gsc yielded like shit..

in my experience the gsc is pretty mold resistant for being so dense, its a great strain..

great grow, i like the layout of the plants and setup, really stepped ur game up this season, good luck on a safe easy harvest

what do you think on yield, 2-3 p per pot? how big are the pots? 100s?

Thanks man, yeah the Candyland did really good for me last year so I knew the cookies would be good for outdoor. I would definitely be growing the forum over the platinum if I had the choice. Actually, I would love to try that cookie frost cut u have. Looks like a winner

I did step up my game with bigger pots, better soil and an earlier start. Unfortunately my plants still outgrew their pots and I had to deal with pm. Something I have never seen before

The pots are 60 to 75 gallons or so. I made them myself so im not sure on the exact amounts. I would be more than happy with 2-3 per... but some plants are much bigger than others, the sfv was heavily affected by pm and the fire og just kinda sucked so expecting much less lol

Going to take advantage of the break in rain and take down the sour d and cookies tonight after work. Could go a bit longer but we have a good amount of rain coming up

Didn't yield for shit but it should be some nice smoke. I'm thinking its growth got stunted somehow after I transplanted it into its final pot. Up until that point it was keeping up with the others but after that everything else took off and it stayed small

And here's the sour diesel before I took it down on 10/26. I would have liked to have taken it another week but pm was growing and weather was pretty bad the last couple weeks. This plant was awesome to grow and I'm sure in a better spot with more sun it would finish a little faster. I would love to try growing it again someday

So now the only plant I have out still is the fire og. The citrus sap I chopped almost two weeks age is still hanging and is almost ready to get bucked down into bags. Im only taking off large fans and leaving the rest for dry trim. Wooooh 2016 was an awesome learning experience for me !
