In a way, having a set amount of molasses added to the compost tea doesn't make sense to me. Depending on the type/quality of compost you're using you may want to use less than 10ml/5 gallons of tea...or you might want to use more. From what I understand, the compost you use is more important than anything else. Not saying MM is wrong, but just thinking out loud.
I'd just put in a small amount of molasses at first and see what you get.
If you're thinking about adding fish hydrosolate, I would add it at the end. I added it once and brewed for another 8 hours and my tea went anaerobic on me.

That makes sense to me and I believe mm says .5% is just a good starting point
I think I'm going to give them some of the fish just on its own or maybe with a little guano top dress as well and see how they respond. Going to go light
