Notice (count) the number of orange hairs in the first pic; this is the HB; the others are only a sign of my poor camera work, not growing

I'm a bit surprised to hear that the Hashberry's potency, at least in your experience, has been low. I would have expected it to be a decently powerful stone. But it's a $15 pack of beans...

(I haven't grown it yet.)

Paradise Nebula beans didn't even germinate....

Ooouuu, always i have good results with this strain, is one of my favorites... I have a similar experience with Chronic, 1 of 15 seeds, but this one was very good, and female

Cheers

cherry bomb 2 from rm is one of many over the years that didnt' work.. little investigation found that they had a bad batch.. the cherry bomb indica is out now.. and got a pack for free to make up for it. So Rm admitted bad run and paid for it.. which is cool.

Well the first post said take price into consideration... thus I don't really think hashberry should have even been mentioned...in my mind it would have to be Sour Diesel... VERY leafy plant... but not really hashy leaves just big pine green leaves. No where close to being worth $160.00 INHO. The cut however is very nice....I think you guys are right on packaging more than ten seeds as it is obviously going to take more to find a killer pheno. Even 15 seeds would be nice.... wish simon hadn't become a follower :(

reeferman's BC mango was very hay like and airy, very unpleasant.

My SourD IBL's had very poor germ rates for such new beans (got them last year), only 4 out of 10, and 3 were males. Don't know if I should write the whole strain off cuz of the one mom I have, but it is an IBL, so all the females should be pretty much the same. Very disappointed.

I was about to order some BC Sweet God, and possible some Blue Buddah or BC Hash Plant, but noticed someone didnt like BC. Whats the deal?

Also, one of my friends fucking SWEARS by LA confidential. Beats me :shrug

IT really does depend on the seed bank/batch. I grow outdoors, so i can't grow everything like i want to , but i would say the worst genetics i've ever seen were supposedly "super silver haze" Out of 15 seeds, 4 germed, 2 females, no special phenos. Practiccally looked/tasted like fibrous hemp plants. Btw, those were grown indoors by a very talented grower thats been doin it for twenty years, not by me. So thats how i know that it wasn't poor groing parameters.

Seems there's a big thing about Rez calling it an IBL when it's not a true IBL, etc, etc... I've read that Sour Diesel IBL produces multiple phenotypes (from one pack of seeds).

What didn't you like about it?

From what I've read, most other people were disappointed with B52 because of the taste / flavor. Was that the case with you as well?

I've got to throw up Chronic as well. I too, though, have seen some good results from other people, and while disappointed, this is part of what I love about popping beans. For every disappointment, I've had a great find. It sucks spending good money and really getting nothing in return, especially if you have little to invest, but we are dealing with mother nature, no matter how good the breeder. Just like people, sometimes you get some bad apples, lol.Just look at any forum. Most of the people are cool, but theres always some that have nothing better to do than try to get people mad. '
That said, I like to know if a strain has continuous bad results from many people. That tells me it's not just a single person, or a single batch of seeds. If that's the case, I may still order them and hope for a great pheno if it's something I really want, or just pass it up and move on to something else.

I'm not sure if I posted it earlier in thread but the only strain that REALLY disapointed me was Reeferman's Odin's Hammer. Most were hermie, and I mean hermie with as many male flowers as females. Seeing I was growing about ten other strains with it and none of them hermied in the least I'd say it was geneticaly induced to herm. The few that had more female flowers than male were total bunk, shit would hardly get a flea high. They said maturation time was in 8-10 weeks so I tried 10 weeks, then 14 weeks, then I tried 18 and finaly I tried 22 which gave me something ALMOST smokable. It was the only time with any "store bought" seeds that I felt totaly ripped off. I think he still sells that crap too.
Did you keep the hermie around in your garden full of non-herms?

22 weeks for a herm plant? And the 10, 14, and 18... were those on separate runs? And if so, why did you choose to run it so many times?

I did not like Sensi Star.pretty potent, but a boring "duh?" kind of stone, plus a taste I never really liked, kind of acrid.
Also don't like Blockhead,looks AWESOME-yields VERY well,just a boring buzz.
Both run 2wice.

Current love is sour queen II,(other than 2-3 old skool black, bricked imported types)most potent herb I've smoked in almost 30 yrs of puffing.
Always trying to do better,though!
