I'm running some DP Blueberry right now. I hope that mine at least turns out better than the comeercial shit thats around.

As for seed companies, I think what in the pack should be representitive of what the description is. A $10 seed should produce buds that are better than your average commercial buds. Just my .02

Your absolutely right about the seed prices. The results should justify the high prices that we are seeing these days. It seems to be ht and miss though with a few exceptions. Ive heard bad reports about THseeds high priced strains, but overall Id say they have a positive Rep. Id say the only 100% best bets to get what you paid for is DJ Short, Breeder Steve, Rezdog and shanti. Not that theyre arent others (H3ads, MOD, etc.) just havent been around long enough to have the rep. Take care

the worst strain i have ever grown was sensi's ruderalis indica. that shit didnt even finish early. 100% shit in every single respect and im a glass-half-full kinda guy.

My worst has been from Sensi Seeds NL, only 3 germed outta 15, and then I would have to say DJ, too many mutants & hermies, hate the fact you gotta buy 2-3-4 packs just to find a mom, wtf is up with that?

I wonder what percentage of female plants grown from seed produced and sold by seed companies, actually produce buds that meet the descriptions given by the seed companies? Anything less than 75% is bogus.

So far Sour Diesel IBL for me. 7 males out of 7 plants. Have the final 2 going now. One hasn't popped yet, looks like a dead seed. Can't judge final product, but I haven't ever had a full male crop before, so this qualifies as a diisappointment to me. Maybe the last 2 will be females and knock my block off, though. We'll see.

There are 16 smoke reports for DP Blueberry over on the old OG Strainguide. Average rating was around an 8 I think. Some poritve reports there. I'll know for myself in a few weeks.

Here's some around day 32 I think. They are at day 49 today. They definitly throw some nanners out.

Agreed, anything with more than one overwhelmingly predominant main pheno should list phenos! A few cool phenos might be just what someone is looking for.

Yes I started this thread for educational reasons and mainly for my selfish self, Nevertheless Pay Attention !!!!! --- Perfect World: Even if all seeds known to mankind were 50%Male & 50%Female and you packaged them in lots of 10, 12 or even 15 beans, theres a lottery like senario that comes into the equation - the majority of packets would be close to 50/50 but some pks. would end up more male while others more female. This is enough to change the mind of even the most decided strain enthusiast, so therefore accept all variables in your search for what you think will be your faves !!! I never rate a strain or hybrid by the germ rate or the male /female ratio. If i got all male then i really can't judge it, just a little bad luck. You can get ten females of some bullshit but that doesn't make it good. If it's fire im happy with one female, of course i want ten but i know it's luck of the draw.

the above comment is to true my bubblegum finished outdoors before them and they are supposed to auto flower, mine suspiciouly all started flowering when it went 12/12 outside finshed half way thru october and had a bit of a ruff taste to them when done (after being cured for 2 weeks taste was improved though) also the stone was strong-ish but it was the headache type high if u smoke too much however considering i paid 5 pounds for 15 seeds i shouldnt really complain , the bubblelicious i was growing at the same time was top notch (the green pheno) the purple pheno was weak and tasted shitty !

Worst strains;

dutch passion's durban poision, Got seeds a few years back and grew them out because i liked the durban around my area the year before. Not even close to the real dp. shitty yields and resistance to anything, did finish early though(i.e. low yield outdoors).


Silver Pearl - don't know what seed company (canadian most likely) but the stuff took forever and the smoke was tasteless & weak, decent yielder though.

As far as blueberry goes. In my circle the DJ shorts blueberry from the late 90's has been a staple for breeding & flowering until the present. However i would imagine dutch passion's would suck just like my durbans!


Looks like dutch passion just kinda blows goats!

worst plant ive grown in my life would have to be dutch passion's blueberry. This was when i was a newb and would judge strains by their name, blueberry sounded like good bud at the time. The plant looked like a freak of nature from seed to flower and had about 6 different types of leaves it would make. The reason it was so bad is because it would pretend to be female but late in flowering it would always hang balls by the dozens. Almost as many balls as it makes flowers. Never will grow anything from dutch passion again, they charge a ton for this strain too, can't remmeber how much but at least a bill. However the finished product did smell of blueberry but it was very faint and the high was average. Nowadays though i dont smoke anything but the kush unless its offered to me, won't turn down free weed!

On that point, maybe you had to judge your "grow experience" better than the strain...

Blueberry is unstable strain..even DJ's one done many phenotypes...

I'm sick of wrong criticizes....I'm not fond of DP but reading such arguments do not reflect reality...
