I must have one hell of a blockhead pheno to have kept it for 4 years the whole time blowing through several high dollar strains trying to find an equivalent. If coughing your brains out from bud that tastes like hash is boring,I'd sure like to experience an exiting strain

Good! I never said it was bad, just overated (psychosis???!!! )and, well kind of boring. :2cents:

BLOCKHEAD is top notch

...and the "not good for peeps prone to psychosis" is def. accurate.... especially in the more sativaish/p19 influenced BH phenos.

I have lost count of all the Blockhead phenos I've grown, but not a single 1 was a disappointment, and I have a cpl dozen BHf2's in veg right now.

If your not used to strong weed Blockhead can be a "mind-phuck"...can be even if you smoke constantly.

i just got to smoke some white rhino. i bought the seeds from the original breeder but forget who at the moment.

just my luck, i got 9 males and one female. talk about bummed. i bred her of course and will be trying the f2s in a couple months. i also bred some of my swiss bliss and stonehedge to the 2 best looking/smelling rhino males.

i was looking for a knockdown, leave my head all foggy the morning after kind of buzz. all my other genetics are sativa/indica mixes. i've got some sativa doms that are more indica than this rhino.

i have some bubble gum ready to go into flower. i'm hoping for the best. :)

Leda uno sucked. Only one germinated but never matured enough to form cotyledons. This was back when everyone sold KC products. I had better results from mango, 33, and 36.

For me Leda Uno was the only KC seed that ever panned out, but still not a keeper. G-13 x Hash Plant - Just lacked size, potency, and any kind of special taste.
Mazar - Not sure of the hype, the Shit by Mr Nice in the same grow put it to shame. I've loved my other DP strains though.

My worst ever is the shit I just finished, Supposed to be a Silver Haze clone, So I made a bunch of cuts, I know it wasnt SH it is SHIT, Set me back. I really like this thread. This site has been keeping me up to date for sure. I am about to get a strawberry romulan cut from a bro, and I got a cut from an ICMAG bro that I hope turns into something great.
My other dissapointments ak48 nirvana, was too airy and hairy and took 90 days,
My Chronic beans only one germed, the others popped open and had wierd looking stuff inside. The one that popped is sure going slow compared to the ICE that started at the same time.
Good luck to all and thanks for the great info.

And the winner is.........

Sensi Seeds G13 x Hashplant AKA Mr. Nice my ass.

Low potency @ $150.00 a pack. They refused to stand behind their product too. I can see at $30.00 a pack but $150.00.

Yup, I was pissed. Live n learn!

didnt care for swt #3, tasty but left me clamoring for the "good stuff". I realize sol bred this for aesthetics though. so it was fine as advertised. a light tasty smoke.

I just thought I'd throw in here, some people complain about low germ rates, but really some seeds just take a very long time to germinate. I did an experiment with some bagseed seeds to test my germing setup; a few of the seeds popped in two days, but there were like ten left and some of them took a full two weeks. So I think sometimes you have to be patient with them, give the water some time to penetrate a thick seed casing.

I know this is a bit off topic but I didnt like the Marc Emery catalog too much. Very overpriced... gotta appreciate that seed boutique

For me my worst disappointing strain would be be the MOD bx, from mist of destruction seeds. Out of one pack I got 6 females, and 5 different phenos, and only one was kinda like Kali Mist and all went over 10 weeks. I was very hyped up about the possibility of getting that old school kali at a price of like $30. But in the long run the taste wasnt there nor was that special high. Not the worst strain for $30 but there are better.

I hesitate to say this, because they're all the rage these days, but my most disappointing strain was Mandala #1. Based on all the reports I had high hopes but I popped 8 seeds and got two females. Yields were low and one of the plants showed almost no visible trichomes at all. Nice smell, decent buzz, but the lousy yield and lack of resin production really turned me off.

I've been growing for 30+ years and was running Apollo 11 at the same time which did fabulous, so it wasn't the growing conditions.

Like I said, small sample, but doubt I'll bother to pop the rest of those seeds, too many more interesting prospects.

Sadly, a recent order from Gypsy, I was expecting a whoppa harvest from 3 packs of Mr Nice's Critical Mass and NOT ONE single bean germed outta 55. Other varieties, THS BubbleGum and Nirvana's California Orange all germed fine at the same time and in the same medium so I figured the Critical Mass' must have been dead on arrival.

RezDog's Sour Diesel IBL's were pathetic, poor yielding plant specimens that delivered miniscual amounts of smoko reflecting nothing short of MEDIOCRITY with a taste I'd only rank as fair.
I was desperately hoping for some decent med but it was really only so, so and certainly didn't match its exhorbitant price tag!!!

I sat here and read thru this entire thread. I found this thread really interesting and educational and at time amusing. But one thing I noticed, some strains had both good and bad postings, so it made me suspect alot of times it had more to do with external factors which determine the quality of the strains and not the strain itself.

One thing I know from experience is, alot of strains that were killer back like lets say 6 years ago, may be a waste of time trying to buy now, mainly because of the time that has elsapse since the beans were first made, perhaps the seed company didnt properly store them over the years, even perhaps they are just fraudulant substitutes since the beans are now long since gone and they the seed compnies and seed distributors are still trying to profit from a canabis cup winner of 2001 or 2002 etc. etc.

I think that unless it is a high quality clone that comes from kick ass genetics, people should stick with new strains that were created in the last 2 years, and avoid beans from strains that were made more then that time unless you are prepared to buy 2 or more packs just to find the right bean, well one that at least germinates!

Personally i feel that any strain that is over 2 years the seed companies should drop the prices down 50% the original price, they had 2 years to make top dollar for their starins now its time to drop the price since the seeds germ rate and quality has dropped as well.
