drove by a "church" in rural 'bama once. it was a house trailer (still had the wheels on it for a quick getaway) and the sign said "House of the Living Dead..." went back two days later to get pics, empty gravel parking lot, no sign.

remember hitching a ride more like a (walk) 5 miles back to farm in the dead of night and you can hear the crackling of electricity through the o/head wires, quite as ,then a few cows stroll past you on the road lol. pulled up ute one early am on a 500 mile run home , long empty road just farms thought something was wrong with old girl , lifted bonnet and it was the spark plugs spark jumping across gaps, fukeeeen quite country.
