World record 1 plant harvest??

Holy shit. How do you even trim something like that, with a chainsaw?!? How do you get the fucking roots out of the ground, a crane??!
Serious questions: How long of a veg? And if Tom or Butte wouldn't mind explaining their technique that would be AWESOME....
And, what about biggest 1 plant indoor? probably closer to 2 lbs?

Well first off,Hello Tom!Been a spell...The subject is world record one plant harvest,and I have no way of ever competing in that arena.But world record is a large field to compete in,like world record indoor plant weight,outdoor plant weight ect.I am content to just grow and enjoy.
That being said,I just wanted to say hey to Tom,because he got me started with my first hydro grow ever,and to this day I have never grown bigger, tighter, heavier,more potent buds since he gifted me with two Salmon Creek Big Bud clones what? 7-8 years ago?
Since that grow,I have grown thousands of plants,had my house burn down,lost a job I had for 13 years,went thru two girlfriends,5 other jobs,gained one wife,and to this day,I have not found anything better as far as potency or bag appeal than Tom's genetics.
These pics are from years ago guy's...Tom has beans available,snap them up,you won't be disappointed.Oh,and Tom...do you still like coffee?The wife would be glad to overnight some tasty cookies or coffee cake if you still like a good cup.

Found a couple more pics from last year’s garden. Here’s a Sage Monkey that flirted with the 10 pound mark, but it’s unknown since we accidentally mixed it up with another SM in the garden when it was drying.

of all the outdoor freaks that have been grown, has anyone done so with an outdoor hydro or aquaponic setup?
Compost tea is the main thing I would credit with the growth you see. Well balanced biology keeps everything flowing and the plants can use all they can. Beyond that, there are 2-3' deep trenches those containers are sitting on...lots of worm castings, coco, peat, perlite, and compost went into those beds, but I consider that my "battery bank". The containers allow me to water more frequently, water often being a limiting factor in many gardens. More water = more nutrient cycling and more potential for cell growth (vegetative or flowering). I should also mention this is a 100% organic grow with no salt ferts ever used.
I also put plants out fairly early and run 40w lights in the garden to ensure they stay solidly in veg. Judicious pruning also pushes growth outward. By the end of the season you could have stuffed a five pound plant inside some of those monsters.
I don’t think huge plants are out of medical patients abilities. If you’re trying to hide it, well, I guess that’s just another game entirely. I do have to admit after a couple years of growing really big ones that I may not take this approach again.
While it stays within the plant count guidelines nicely, losing a huge plant is devastating emotionally. Losing five out of eighteen as I have this year is a really hard thing to take. More, smaller plants would also be significantly easier to manage. Huge plants need ladders, rebar, t-post, etc, etc. Add to that an inability to even reach all the way into some of these plants and you have the set-up for any number of problems from powdery to mold to mites and beyond.
To be sure, I’m glad I’ve grown like this and, until I do a double digit plant, will continue this way. After that, it will be selecting to get plants to do double digits, but be half the size.
You, too, can grow a monster...let’s see some!

Are they homemade planters with no bottoms? What size?
