LMAO! That's scarry ship!

America is NOT the USA.
The USA is NOT America.

America is inclusive of all the land amassed in the western hemisphere from the north to the south, Canada to Chile, along with a few islands along those coasts.
I don't know what the OP was referencing.

Specifics/details are important for clarification of the subject matter being discussed.

G `day MJP

Within the United States you may not identify as America .
Outside the borders let me reassure you its Amurica .

Easier to simply say Amurica .
Who wastes their breath to add the united states of part ?

Say Uhmurica to people around the globe and people will know that you are talkin about the USA .

When the US forces were in Europe and SE Asia during and after WW2 they were referred to as Americans . Not united States-ers . lol .

US Forces ,give the nod .

Thanks for sharin

I remove the A and say Murica when refering to the portion of the population that supports an outdated way of thinking that is not healthy for the planet or its inhabitants.

I guess I rarely think of America or USA as a positive thing. Way too destruction associated with those words.

I have lived in America my whole life. I have been ashamed of that anytime I see someone defend being a stereotype "murican" for almost as long. Yup.

It's not all chips and beer here though. We have the ignorant here too and sometimes they end up running the country.

My best friend is American. We have awesome debates at his cabin (cottage for canadians). But honestly, I haven't *ever run across a stereotypical "murican". And I travel a lot. Much more than most. I've met Americans everywhere from California (coachella & desert trip) to NYC. Central and South America and across Asia. Nothing but good vibes and friendly people, and certainly welcoming. One even thanked me for taking in all the people redirected to Newfoundland during 9/11 when air space was closed. I said "I don't live...." "Doesn't matter. Thank you anyway." That's the America I've experienced.

Trump is right about one thing. The media is evil. They want to outdo each other with terrible stories just to make more money.

Mostly a great bunch of people. You just cant tell by paying attention to the reality most of them choose to keep supporting.

Don't worry, Borat will return to the US and A and then he will probably shoot more than the Red Indians.

This time I think he shoot all the Evil knitwits with Great Success.

hopefully you are first

Try telling Americans the truth about their government, their religion, or anything really, and see how long it takes until they hate you and avoid you, or viciously lash out at you in a rage.

Sounds like you've been hanging out with the more intellectual type, not the common run of the mill rabble on the street. Lots of arrogant, selfish assholes in this country.

Yep...a nation of retards.

No, that's actually dead wrong. The people who own the news media and own Trump would love for you to believe that it's "just about the money." The truth is far uglier than that. It's about power, control, herding the sheep in the direction they want them to go: straight into the meat grinder.

I spent 4 months working in the States in the late 90s and I agree. What struck me was how friendly and polite people were. I'm not sure if that's because I was Australian but that was my impression. I never came across the stereotypical "idiot American" either. I had nothing but positive experiences. People were friendly, open and genuinely interested in Australia. I would live there without a second thought. Except the weather sucks. :)

America is a big country that is very diverse. If you surround your self with people in Backwad Mississippi you will get a much different experience then say.. Berkley California. Ignorance is usually lack of culture.

One big negative in the US is much of the population still believes government propaganda. Merica is "Freedom" consume more, work harder. Same garbage as all other governments just a different flavor. As long as people have a comfortable armchair and a TV they will usually stay in that level of ignorance.

I have met tons of Europeans that have some good culture but they are just as brainwashed by the state of the world and their own government. Same crap- Our country is the most "advanced" "enlightened" ect. Their problem is they have nothing to back it besides bb guns and bread sticks.

Honest answer: Cannabis is a lifestyle in many parts of the US, has been for ages. Cannabis is a business in Europe. Greenhouse. Lol. Do they even smoke weed or just tobacco rolled in weed leaves?

Currently or historically?

If we're talking about the past, anybody that gives Sam any hell deserves to be dry for the next few years.
Anybody who disagrees with Nevil should suffer the same!

If it weren't for these two guys, modern day varieties would be much much different, I presume.

So Neville calls Sam a narc, Sam calls Neville a flake, just cancels each other out?

We have the drug raids to thank and everyone knows it. Better not give the DEA any hell, huh?

Every country should have 12 nukes. There'd be no more invadin anyone. Invade someone, get nuked. Share your opinions fro. The outside if you liked but all issues would be solved internally.

Interesting thread we got going here. This is my take on it as an old stoner that started smoking in the 70's. Even in bumfuck hicksville Alabama, we were getting good weed from several sources. Mostly Mexican and Colombian, but also Thai, Jamaican and Panama Red. And we got different grades of all of it. We were getting Oaxacan, Mihouacan, Acapulco Gold, Colombian Red, Colombian Gold. Even back then, the local boys were crossing the best Thai, Colombian and Mex varieties. Then the late 70's, early 80's brought us Afghani weed and that was then crossed with the local strains that were developed from all the various strains we had access to.

The point is, even in my little world, we had access to a pretty broad variety of strains that were being crossed and refined way back then.

This was happening all over the country. People were trading genetics, crossing them, experimenting. Shit exploded. Access to more genetics created more crosses. The advent of HID lighting meant people were able to grow year 'round, and people figured out they could get higher yielding, faster flowering and more potent hybrids.

And it was because the US had access to so many varieties, with people all over the country always looking for something stronger, something tastier, something bigger yielding.

I almost forgot, they were over shadowed by Rwandan and other French/UN organized massacres. I guess when all you have is bread sticks you get good at manipulating others to do your killing and pillaging.

Many say Vietnam weed was what got the US first interested in good smoke.
