Who's watching the President Musk inauguration January 20?

"Elon Musk, the billionaire co-chair of the Department of Government Efficiency, suggested he could oppose Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) for speaker of the House — moments after promising "full support" for the Republican lawmaker."

Why does musk have so much sway on who the Speaker of the House is? This is insane.

I see some have nothing better to do than post about how they don't like Portland or the west coast. Nobody cares about your opinion on this specific geographic location. And we don't want you people moving here so stay far away please. One of the problems over the years has been an influx of people from other states moving here.

I was born in Seattle, and lived on the West Coast for half my life. It bothers me that my once awesome hometown has turned to shit. It's true though that I have nothing better to do at the moment than sit here smoking GG4 and watching TV, lol.

I could deal with the mountain towns on the coast. It's the cities that have went majorly downhill. Mountain people are more my type anyways. They remind me of the people from the West Coast 30 years ago, before everyone went nuts.

I guess I could go water my plants though.

The United States has already ceded control of the Presidency to musk the ultimate elite.

When the equilibrium between ruling elites and the majority tips too far in favor of elites, political instability is all but inevitable. As income inequality surges and prosperity flows disproportionately into the hands of the elites, the common people suffer, and society-wide efforts to become an elite grow ever more frenzied.

Californians ruined Seattle. I like washington state as a whole. Once you leave Seattle people gather their senses and ive met some of the kindest people there. Id probably move there myself if i thought i could handle the 6 months of rain and cloudiness. Reminds me of that movie The Road 😁

It doesn't rain as much as people think. The Seattle area is actually in a rain shadow. It's cloudy a lot. And when it rains it's usually really light like a drizzle. I like the West Coast mountains better too. Steeper with more nature hits. And I miss the seafood. There's a couple good fish and chips places here, but not like Seattle.

Yes there are some great microclimate areas on the northern coast where the sun shines quite often in winter. I've lived on Vancouver Island, in the gulf islands and on Haida Gwaii. What I like best about the coast is the food; salmon, cod, halibut, crab, herring and roe on kelp, deer meat all free (or cheap) for the taking - a poorman's paradise.

You’re from Oregon yeah…… makes perfect sense now 👌🏼

There we go again. Another attempt at an insult. What's wrong with Oregon? It's a beautiful state. Quite a few growers on this site from Oregon. And some legendary growers bred some legendary strains here in Oregon.

Some people discuss topics or debate one another in a civil manner. It doesn't matter if they agree or not. You choose to forgo any type of interaction that requires any thought. You go straight to the insults. I've observed you doing the same in multiple threads. At least your consistent.

It wasn't that long ago that musk was retweeting racist memes about Haitian immigrants. And whatever happened about all that? The Haitians are still there. Did they stop eating cats?

Looks like musk is going to fire maga and replace them with H-1B Visa people. Funny how he's now a champion against racism when he wants to bring in specific people with brown skin to work for him.

This is a serious topic ? “ President Musk’s Inauguration “ come on man, please stop the BS. You’re just spewing passive aggressive rhetoric like most of the people in the speakers corner. Stop acting so offended

Perfect example right here. How does that statement equal musk if firing MAGA and replacing them with Indians 🤣
