What's the difference between smoking and ingesting Phoenix Tears capsules?

No bother sir.
Happy to help.:)

I use no micro-pore filters, or vacuum pumps.
I don't bother with "winterizing" or brine washing either.
Cloudy is just fine with me.

This is not about cosmetics, or "curb appeal"
I have never sold one drop of oil so pretty is not my goal.
I have bought oil that is over-purified and found it to be much less medically effective than my early, crude, extracts.

I'm sure that it gets recreational users very high indeed, but that is not what I need.

Someone with the brains and equipment can separate all of the fractions in cannabis and test them individually, and in concert to find out which fractions, or combinations are most active for a specific malady.
That someone is not me.

I have a dear friend with cancer of the brain, and a little problem of my own, so time is of the essence!
I'm grabbing and concentrating the whole ball of wax because it has been shown to be effective.

On a side note, Rick stated in the original video that good bud was not necessary for medically effective oil.
And from the look of that schwag in the bucket, he meant exactly that!
He clearly said that plain old hemp will make a cancer killing extract.
So, chasing down and separating the THC, or even CBD does not seem productive.

My next side test will be a large male plant that I've been blessed with.
I intend to make an extraction from it and test it on skin cancer.
If effective, I'm saving my buds for" titration medication" and will use male plants, and just plain hemp, to make oil.

I no longer de-carb either.
In our cases, the less psychoactive the product is, the higher the dosage that we can tolerate.

Just my 2 cents of a work in progress.
All input is welcome.

Aloha,

Weeze

Well, this is frustrating!

Well, this is frustrating!

great information :). how much did a vacuum pumps cost you?

What?!

You seem to have a problem with reading comprehension.

Or was this not clear?

"I use no micro-pore filters, or vacuum pumps."

None, as in, not any.

I do not use, or even own, a vacuum pump, for the reasons stated.

If I'm that hard to understand, I'd best quit posting or at least learn how to write more clearly
.
Let's hope that our dear readers got something from my efforts.

Aloha, and good luck,

Canna caps are extremely effective amazingly so actually. But Phoenix Tears is a topical not to be ingested. I don't really know about just putting cannabis into caps without carbox I don't do that often. I do know there is a huge difference between eating and smoking it headband 707

oh i thought Phoenix Tears could be ingested, then what is the best way to ingest? or what oil can be ingested?

yeah I thought so too until someone from the club says he was using Naphtha Gas ,,, I would have to look at what he is up to now he might have changed his formula.. I would look into that first. I just heard he was in Spain with Dark City club and I would have to imagine he has come up with more then one way to do this but I would ask questions before eating it. I know he says he cooks for 3 dayz that's tricky and dangerous.. Anyways there are a few clubs with Phoenix tears that can be ingested you just need to ask ,, stay safe headband 707:)

This is from Rick's page:

Phoenix Tears Plus, process takes an additional 3 days. This 4 day proprietary process creates a slightly higher and purer form of oil loaded with healing THC. Our products are continually tested by independent laboratories. Test results are available on this website under the tab "Lab Tests".
Medical marijuana is becoming more and more associated with anti-carcinogenic effects, which are responsible in possibly preventing or delaying the development of cancer. This means that cannabinoids offer cancer patients a therapeutic option in the treatment of highly invasive cancers.
Many people have tried to make Phoenix Tears and can. This is encouraged. The problems with making your own Phoenix Tears can range from;

1.) Legalities depending on your state or country.

2.) The process is difficult, toxic and creates a volatile and very dangerous fire hazard.

3.)The process requires a well ventilated area or extensive exhaust systems.

4.) The process entails many details that can be very difficult in producing a pure, safe, chemical free form, which is essential for treatment to achieve the overall health benefits desired.

5.) Problems and concerns with neighbors, family, friends and the stigmatism associated with marijuana.

As far as the Phoenix Tears Plus: <<< it's a link

"Originally we used Rick Simpson's techniques and still employ a good part of them in our process today. Our family through trial, error and intensive research of distillation, heat down methods, refining, condensation and other technical methods created the lengthy 4 day intensive process leading to the creation of Phoenix Tears Plus." (PT+ quote)

It appears to be a business NOT associated with Rick Simpson's Phoenix Tears non-profit, that I can see. Just someone that seems to want to make bank on "proprietary" processes they stole from the REAL Phoenix Tears, along with the Phoenix Tears good reputation and name. No links to all the informative literature regarding the testimonials, how-to's and why-to's that the dot-org provides. Not even a thank-you to the REAL Phoenix Tears folks that have so graciously provided their website to help patients.

But this company in Colorado want's your money. I wonder if they donate any of the profits to the dot-org they seem to be ripping-off.

Anyway...IMHO...I'd be wary of those that change the original formula, claiming to have a "refined" or "better" product, without proof that it's still a curative oil instead of an over-refined 'stoner-sap' all dolled-up for retail appeal. Especially if a curative oil is your goal, and someone's health is at stake.

Again...I go back to doing what has been proven to work. PT+ may well prove to be the be-all and end-all. But until it's cured a real patient or two, and proof is offered...I would still use the original formula made the original way.

Perhaps I'm wrong...and the PT+ folks have the permission for their website postings and claims, and use of name and reputation. Perhaps the 'refinements' and 4-day process actually DOES something to improve the RSO for patients. But to say I'm skeptical is an understatement.

Spot on, Rusty!

That is also my humble opinion!

On this topic I am as serious as a heart attack.

The life's of people we love are at stake here.
There's no room for error, stick with what is proven to be effective.

ugh I have to get growing. Just waiting for my tent. Bought myself a 5x5 gorilla grow tent. The other day. hope it comes soon. I really need to start making some meds for my Mom. I was actually thinking of getting a PHD in Botany at the Uni near my place. So I can understand everything and hopefully figure something out.

Weezard Ever add coconut oil to your oil?

Not to be picky...but canna coconut oil seems to make my brownies and cookies...flat. (they don't rise...they spread) But unsalted budder tastes like crap on toast.

RSO per Rick Simpson's recipe and technique...can be taken internally for cancer(s) and pain, can be smoked if you want to get REALLY high, (pretty frigging expensive doing this) or can be used topically for some forms of melanoma. Not sure you'd want to put it in foods, unless you like burping the aftertaste of bong resins. (fish oil capsules help mask this nastiness, lol)

Sort of.

It's a theory of mine based on limited observation.

I noted that remission of visible lesions stalled when I switched to Butane derived oil.
Then resumed when I was able to obtain some Naptha derived oil.
My glioma patient had no growth for a year, then switched to Butane derived oil, and started having seizures from swelling of the white matter.
Found him some Naptha derived oil and he seems to be recovering.
I do not do this lightly. The 'tane oil was being supplied pro-bono.
The Naptha oil, while inexpensive, is still beyond my means to continue.

I contacted GW by e-mail and he gave me a "better" e-mail address.

Sent an e-mail detailing my concerns to that address about 3 weeks ago, but he has not replied.
Don't want to be a pest, so I'll wait another week and maybe try again.

Aloha,
Weezard

Was your BHO being used - Decarboxcylated ?
I've also heard a testimony from a gentlemen on youtube that his cancer returned when he stopped decarb'ing his oil because he did not like the psychoactive affects

As a matter of fact it was very well decarbed by the best chemist on this forum.
And winterized, brine purified, micropore vacuum filtered, and blended with myrhh and cinnamon oil.

Still would not pull keratin from a keratinoid.
The crude Simson oil does so.
That is my basis for further investigation.
Can't say if it is the original solvent used, or the over-purification.
Or even an overzealous decarb that cooked the medical effectiveness out.
All I can say, from observation at this point is.

One batch of oil is visibly effective, and another batch of oil is less effective.
I'm trying to figure out why
Thanks for your input, everything helps.

Weezard

Yeah I don't make brownies or cookies with coconut oil it just not the right oil for the job.. It mixes really well with Lindt chocolate, 50/50 on the chocolate and the coconut oil and I add the cannabis with oil and cook it then 1/2 an hour later I add the chocolate to a warm coconut/cannabis mixture and then put it in freezer to harden. You will need to keep your chocolate in the fridge as it melts quick .Make the whole thing in a frying pan .. Very ,very effective stuff .. stay frosty headband 707:biggrin:
