Box Set (band from San Francisco) area I encountered in the cobblestone vendors' area in the open-air market in Portland, Oregon during a conference for mental health clinicians who worked with sex offenders/persons contending with pedophilia, about 30 years ago).

They had a really amazing street presence, a very nice sound with harmonies. It was just the 2 of them on the street with a folding chair holding CDSs/cassette tapes they were selling. Still have a variety of cassette tapes from that day.

I couldn't score a joint to save my life. In my clinician's casual attire, I think all the hippie vendors in the booths I inquired with probably thought I and my other clinician acquaintance were cops. How insulting!!
